AKA, "The Burt Reynolds in NASCAR" movie. It's a good flashback to the olden days of Winston Cup, complete with a slew of driver cameos (poor Cale Yarborough is reduced to working with a chimp!) and decent race footage. Gotta love that Chicken Pit slogan..."The Fastest Chicken in the South." But that's not even the best line in the movie: Charlie (the crew guy played by Alfie Wise): "What's so bad about second?" Stroker and Lugs: "SCREW SECOND!!"

Ya'll Duke Fans, don't u think they should have made a show called "The Dukes Meet Smokey and the Bandit"? it would have been a good Show, and ya'll just say so if u think so, and remember ya'll come back now ya hear

if you have watched the dukes of hazzard reunion both when it was on tv and the video that was sold by columbia house, did u notice in the original airing of it on tv don williams mentioned that rosco's new dog,tuitles,was the grandpup of flash but that part wasnt in the columbia house video so has anyone else noticed this?

I think White Lightning was much better than than the sequil, Gator. I think it's a cooler story, and all those Ford LTD's in the chase scenes. (especially the one Burt Reynolds drove with the 429 and 4 speed manual. ) Gator wasn't a bad movie, but I think it wasn't as good as White Lightning. It just didn't impress me much. I chose White Lightning on the cover first. After seeing Burt on the cover with a shotgun, I thought this would be a good movie! Then, I read the back about car chase scenes. That's when I whipped out my cash.

Anyone ever see SPEED ZONE with John Candy and Eugene Levy? John Schneider has a small cameo appearance, and their are some cool cars in it, including a Lamborghini Countach.

I was watching the news today and they were talking about a movie that is out for streaming (or whatever that fancy stuff is called). It is titled "Arkansas" and stars Vince Vaughn, John Malkovic and (Thor's brother) Liam Hemsworth. It's about a small time Southern crime boss. I suspect that he isn't as nice as our favorite small time Southern crime Boss but still, they have some similiarities. I don't remember who wrote the book but the same guy who wrote the screenplay is also the same guy who directed it and stars in it. He said that the boss character reminded him of his grandfather. I just saw this movie again on TV the other day....I love this movie from when I was little and loved that Clint Eastwood made a couple of movies like this. Right Turn Clyde.......

This is one of my favorite car-themed movies. Put together big-time movie stars and some kickass cars, and we have cinematic gold. For one thing, you can't go wrong with Dom DeLuise as Captain Chaos. For me, the best line belongs to Burt Reynolds: "We could do a Trans-Am....no, that's been done." Great Smokey and the Bandit reference. The sequel wasn't half bad, either.

Okay, let me get this straight. Is that or isn't that Paul Walker in the Fnf: Tokyo Drift trailer??? I mean first a sucky DoH remake movie in 05' and now FnF with out Paul Walker in 06'? If I'm wrong about that being him please tell me, because I checked out the profile for it on ImDb (International Movie DataBase / www.imdb.com) and I did not see his name on there. Also has anyone else heard anything about the film?

Worth seeing for the 1965 Chrysler Imperial decked out with rockets, flamethrower, and dual machine guns. There's enough mayhem in this flick to please anybody. It's an action-comedy, a thankless category that always gets shortchanged by critics and panned by serious movie goers who are looking for more blood and guts and fewer jokes. But if you see the movie for the sake of seeing a nutty, glass-breaking shoot-em-up with car chases and explosions, you'll like it. Follow That Dream (1961) is a little known Elvis Presley movie and a famous quote by the Papa's is "Still Too Much Pressure" well anyways is about this Geogria family that moves down to Florida and accidently settle a Highway project and the to find out where the phrase comes from just watch the movie. Elvis is elected sheriff and it one of his funniest roles he is funnier than Rosco in this movie. It's based of the booked called Pioneer, Go Home by Richard Powell.

Has anybody seen the H.B. Halicki Gone In 60 Seconds movie, if you have by the box set and watch the version with the commentary and there is some surprizing stuff in it. I was wandering how do you think Gone In Sixty Seconds(2000) compares to the original and if you only seen the new movie, then rent the original and see the difference for yourself.

Do ya like high action car chases? Have you seen Steve McQueen's Bullit? Bullitt chases the bad guys driving a ........1968 black Dodge Charger! Yep, a charger but it ain't driven by any good ole boys, more like the good fellas. Bullit drives a high powered 68 Green 'Stang. The chase is just cool. There's one part where steve overshots a corner and backs up, which was a genuine mistake, theres another part where the bad guys hit a parked car and knock over a camera which they left in, and they pass the same green VW bug 6 or 8 times, when the Charger hits the gas station blowing it up it actually missed by the explosives guys blew it up in perfect time! I have recently bought the Movie Love Me Tender(1956) and Imdb doesn't even mention that James Best played Brett Reno he did a great job with the role. He was one scene where he grabs Clint Reno who is played by Elvis Presley after he is hitting Cathy and he does a good job with and even takes him gun from as well.

Yesterday some friends came over and we all watched Saw 2, I was the only one who hadn't seen Saw 1 and Im so confused! Do you have to see Saw 1 to get the point of the 2nd Saw????

Just read a story that the latest Furious movie destroyed most of the cars they bought for production including 9 1968-70 dodger Chargers . I know it's a drop in the bucket compared to how many were destroyed making the Dukes of Hazzard series but still sad to see 9 more go to the scrapyard. I'll be glad when this movie franchise is finally dead!
