Well after returning to reality after the holidays...well heard this song on my MP3 player and it made my day a lil better. So I thought I would post it... Love this song and the video...then again I love about every song on the DOH soundtrack. Also heard James Best's "Go Flash Go" as well...makes me smile everytime...puts me in anoth DOH episode. The General Lee, is in my opinion, the best car. Ever. Then again, my opinions are heavily biased since I love everything about The Dukes of Hazzard.

Friends the other day I was listening to Waylon's greatest hits and I realized we lost a legend. All of his songs are incredible. They take you through every emotion and back again.

A radio show I listen to has a weekly feature where they put up two versions of a song, the original and a good cover, and debate which is better; sometimes with surprising results. For example, this week's comparison was 'Tracks of my Tears' with versions by Smokey Robinson and Linda Ronstadt. It's the one from a couple of weeks ago that still has me undecided. Could anyone please help me to identify a source for the backing music from Dukes of Hazzard. I've been searching for The Waylors, Waylon Jennings etc but I haven't found any real instrumental backing music from The Dukes of Hazzard.

I have this dvd with Tom Wopat singing "True Love(Never Did Run Smooth) by Tom Wopat and he's so fine with his live performance is from 1986 and from a show called Church Street Station as well. Does anybody know the lyrics to this song now.

I'm not sure if any of my American friends have seen this video on CMT in the States, but this is one cool music video. 'John Roland Wood' is the title of the song. It's performed by Aaron Pritchett, a Canadian artist. Anyway, this video is a spoof of the 'Dukes of Hazzard'. It features the General Lee driving around the band and also some of Hazzard's characters. They call themselves the 'Dookes of Merritt' or something like that. There's Jean-Luc, Moe, and Daffodil Dooke, Phatt Pig, Rosco and Jesse.

just heard joe nichols' song on the radio "gimme that girl" and can't stop singing it! it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes too haha i just went on itunes and previewed his album and it all sounds pretty wonderful. joe nichols might be my next music buy! what do u guys think?

I Just heard her new single on Tuesday night Cma special and that sounded like a great bar song. And one other thing don't you think that was at one time couldn't have been written for a guy but she just changed lines. I just thinkin wouldn't that col if the music video was filmed at the Boars Nest.
