Wow, for an afternoon showing boy was that theater packed! at the sign of the first jump about a bakers dozen cheered! (so i did too ) now as far as the characters go all of them did a hell of a job with how the dukes were portrayed. cooter was awsome. and as a Knoxville fan myself he played a good luke, he really set grounds for that character. as for scott he suprised me as well, he Wasnt a Complete moron. Just something for some people who are intrested in seeing the movie. The orginal series, when it started back in the 70's, got horrible reviews and the big wigs HATED the show. Needless to say we are still talking about and loving the saw that is The Dukes of Hazzard 30 years later!!!

This is for anyone who has seen this movie. What are Cooter and Enos and Cletus like in this movie? Are the actors playing them any good? No one has said much about them. I bet they have small parts in this movie?

Someone on the Dukes Yahoo Group had this to say about the film So I saw the movie tonight as a Sneak Preview... I must say it is a darn fine flick. There's action, lots of comedy, and crazy ol' car stunts. But there is a problem. There's no "Duke" charm. None, Zip. Zilch. IT doesn't capture the good heartedness of the original. I caught most of it, and the stunt scenes look very cool. Saw another chase scene that hadn't been shown on the previews yet, and it was wild. The bar fight scene looked like good ol' mayhem too. But no matter how many times they show Jessica with her "Something bounced up into my undercarriage" line, it doesn't improve. Anybody else see it? Whad'ja think? I just saw the very first Dukes show on Bravo TV in the UK. I have never seen it before. It was kind of different to the shows they did later on in LA. I thought it was not so much of a spoof when it started like the LA shows were. Things in TV shows change a bit from when they start to when the finish. Like new writers maybe brought in and new people might join the cast and things that were cool and hip one year may not be so hip next year so they change thing .
