I know we all had this discussion 1,000 times before. Now I liked the new Dukes movie honestly, and I still do. Here out my story. I was looking for an avatar on msn search. I typed in the Dukes of Hazzard. What comes up? Mostly all new Dukes pictures! I AM SO SICK OF THIS! It is almost all the new dukes! The original is always better. Ill give the ways that is different in the movie compared to the old Dukes a little later. It will be a LONG list.

I just watched one episode where Luke was curled up in the back of Roscoe's car with Flash. When Roscoe got out and left, so did Luke. Luke said "Good girl" to flash. I'm lost. I was thinking Flash was a dude. Maybe Luke lifted the tail farther than we did....

Ok. First of all, I'm sick. I'm sick of this movie. I'm sick of people who now think this lame excuse for a movie is the Dukes of Hazzard and I'm sick of what this stupid movie has done to the image of the Dukes of Hazzard. While going to my local target at 9:00 AM, I passed the cheap movie section and saw dukes of hazzard there for 13.97$ all I have to say is..... YAY!

One of the highlights of the Dukes movie was that awesome chase in downtown Atlanta after Daisy, Annette and Katie sprung Bo & Luke. In the background(after Luke ticked off Bo for stealing Katie), we heard AC/DC's If You Want Blood in the background. What songs/musical pieces do you think would fit this chase? Was anybody else here mad at just how few songs actually wound up on the Dukes movie soundtrack? If it'd had If You Want Blood on it, I'd've bought it. Yeah, I know there could be licensing issues, but that few a songs on it just chapped my hide. Maybe WB could issue a volume 2...

i heat the so called (BLEEP) dukes of hazzard movie the tv show is a hell of alot better and funnyer and the tv show is a family show one i would let my kids watch if i had kids but why does that matter no way in hell would i let them see this movie unless they had their own apartment and even then if I knew they watched it I wouldn't speak to them for a year. I know this has been discussed numerous times, but bare with me... okay all, as a few here may know im a Serious movie buff. and a big fan of Broken Lizard's films as well but after watching the flames the other night my bud decided "hey. i just bought the dukes movie! lets watch it!" when we all saw it in theaters as is. And enjoyed the theater version. it was fresh and new. Anyways... im Completely Disgisted! Un-Rated? WTF?! what did they do to cooter?! christ. i Swear i will NEVER watch that flick again except the chase scenes and extras. the nudity was one thing. but the drug use? actually showing it happening?! and the Language??! I beleave that this movie was a outlet for a Dukes fan (if you can call him that) and to write a Duke movie based on what he felt how the Dukes should have been like. On CMT Insider John does say that the first 5 episodes did had more grip to them meaning they had some mild cussing, Daisy showed her body more, and I think they make some other references the later episoses didn't have. I think what Jay wanted to do was to capture the feel of those episodes but went a bit too far when he put references to Jackass and Super Troopers.. As for me, if it wasn't for it having the General in it, I really don't think I would have enjoy it as much as I did.

I have a different idea for a dukes of hazzard movie. what about having the original cast but also have the children of bo and luke. They are in there mid 4os so they can have children of their low 20s. i think that would be cool.

Just saw the movie (unrated version) a few days ago. I have never seen the dukes of hazzard before, so I thought i'd give it a chance. Anyway, it made me want to see what the real dukes was like, so I'm watching a marathon on CMT right now. I think I like the series better. The few eps I've seen have the characters portrayed a lot different than on the movie, i think. Anyway, the one thing about the movie i thought was cool was seeing my university on the big screen (LSU). I was reading IMDB today and wanted to verify some of the supposed "goofs" in the movie. Well I was surprised to find this one was actually true. The pictures were larger, but I figured you would need to see more than one to get the idea, so here are several. This is right before they "shoot the moon".

Me and a bud were debating this yesterday... Okay, we all remember the Original series where (of course) they had to show the car in mid air in slow motion. it almost seems that they did the same in the new flick? Only for one jump. the last one in the flick actually (off of cooters truck). but why do they seem like there in "Slo-Mo" in the new flick? they just made them bigger! Where my bud argues that they slow-motioned the jumps just as done in the original series. thoughts? im gone. -Brad
