Hey, I haven't wrote in a while, but i heard the other day on the radio that Willie Nelson is going to be the Balladeer for the movie...anybody got any info on that?...let me know if so!

It would be crazy not to notice the resemblance that Tom Welling of Smallville bears to a young John Schneider. After seeing the first season on DVD it was uncanny...The kid just needs blonde hair. I took the liberty of doing a little photoshop to prove my point. Don't know how to post pics on this site but if someone will let me know I will post it...Casting people need to see this!!!!

I was thinking about how they might go about putting the trailer together and thought wouldnt it be cool if they used the theme from the show while showing clips from the movie? I'm not really interested in a new version of the song being used, I'd rather stick with Waylon's version. What do you think?

Okay, before my dukes story lookie here: okay, now that ive done that the Spoilers are in Bold lettering, so If you Havent seen the movie yet Please Dont read those words! Wow, for an afternoon showing boy was that theater packed! at the sign of the first jump about a bakers dozen cheered! (so i did too ) now as far as the characters go all of them did a hell of a job with how the dukes were portrayed. cooter was awsome. and as a Knoxville fan myself he played a good luke, he really set grounds for that character. as for scott he suprised me as well, he Wasnt a Complete moron. I guess for every cultural icon, there will always be people who don't think anything should change about it. Hollywood is not just about entertaining the masses, it's about making money. Do any of you really think a new movie with a bunch of aging Dukes would make it to the big screen? Hardly. Seann and Johnny did an outstanding job as Bo and Luke Duke. You would never know these guys were paid millions of dollars for these roles. They are the nicest, most down to earth guys. I was an extra during the filming out at the raceway in Erwinville for the beginning and finish of the rally race. I had a great time during the filming and even more so when I saw myself in the movie on the big screen. I want to thank the casting and production people on behalf of all the extras from here in Louisiana for the opportunity to participate in such a fun movie.

Just found out that Willie Nelson is playing uncle Jessie and re-doing the theme tune and is the narator. I read this. is this true.

Has there been any word out yet about who will be cast for these roles? If there shooting the movie already, shouldnt they have had the roles cast already? Or at the very least the producers should have a small list of canidates to play those roles. Have we heard any rumors of anyone for those roles?

One of my favourite episodes of "Smallville" was the one that served as a reunion for you and your "Dukes of Hazzard" co-star Tom Wopat. I liked that. I thought that was cute. He [Wopat’s character] was the one that got me into the Senate race to begin with, so you can say it was kinda him that eventually did me in. I've gotta say that after reading the article about the new movie on MTV's website and seeing the pics from the set, I'm pretty excited about it. I'm glad that they're not trying to make a carbon copy of the T.V. show but they're still trying to capture the spirt of it. I agree with Knoxville when he said that John and Tom would always be the real Bo and Luke. I would've liked to see some pics of Boss and Uncle Jesse but I guess they're keeping them under wraps. The new roscoe does look different and they said he's not gonna have his trademark laugh, which is alright cause nobody can really do it well except Mr. Best (Although Bo Jackson does a pretty good imitation..…

Last night at a friend of mines house, she showed me a website from a auto body and graphic design shop in Phenoix, AZ. I guess it's a pretty well known one because they created the cars for I-Robot, Demolition Man and some other movie I've never heard of. On the site they talked about how they were contracted by Warner Bros. to design a "more contemporary" General Lee for the movie. They actually built three of them and I guess Warner Bros. were actually seriously considering using their version but a few months before they started filming they changed their minds and decided to stick with the real General.
