Dukes of Hazzard Movies

If this new "review" of the movie is true, which I doubt, there's alot of inconsistencies. First, the person says that the car starts off orange with different fonted numbers on the doors, but the flag isn't on it until after the first jump when it's wrecked? It's not even called The General Lee unitl some hillbillys help fix the car and that's when the flag is painted on along with "General Lee." Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cooter supposed to be the one fixing the car and painting all the logos on? This of course after they bring him a BLACK charger. I have an idea for a 3rd Reunion movie. Before Rosco died, he could've made out a will leaving Enos or Cletus Boss Hogg's empire upon his death. Enos can be the Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner now, with Cletus as Deputy. Or have Cletus Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner with Enos as Deputy. Bo, Luke and Daisy can be married with little Dukes of their own who have grown up and come to Hazzard to help the Dukes, Enos, Cletus, Cooter etc. to stop Hughie Hogg from taking over Hazzard County. Hughie got word from his goons about Uncle Boss and Rosco being dead, so he returns to try to take over as Sheriff/Boss/Commissioner.

I just saw the very first Dukes show on Bravo TV in the UK. I have never seen it before. It was kind of different to the shows they did later on in LA. I thought it was not so much of a spoof when it started like the LA shows were. Things in TV shows change a bit from when they start to when the finish. Like new writers maybe brought in and new people might join the cast and things that were cool and hip one year may not be so hip next year so they change thing . Yesterday my husband was driving towards Clinton, La & saw vehicles approaching (on a 1 lane on each side highway) & was like What the Hell? i was readin my copy of 'hot rod' magazine today with the general on the cover (im sure you all have it) and i came across a piece of interesting info about the jumps involved in the movie...there were actually 4 jumps, 3 which were launched by catapults, and 1 which was manned...now if you remember in the movie there were only 3 jumps: the bridge, highway, and courthouse...well the courthouse jump scene was first performed with a stunt driver...the stunt cooridinator thought that the jump was too short, so the first unit guys performed a catapult jump with the same car...so in the courthouse you actually see 2 jumps (different angles), not one.... just wonderin if y'all …

I just wanted to let everyone know that Amy Grant's 'Three Wishes' television show that was shot a little over 3 weeks ago in Covington will be airing this Friday night, October 21st, on NBC. Hey yall. I stumbled onto your site a few weeks ago. I figured I'd give yall another update about the movie. I have two friends who are extras in the movie, so I went to watch them while they were filming today in Clinton. All of the stars were there filming a big scene with about 125 extras outside the courthouse. They also did 2 jumps with the General Lee this morning, one small one with a stunt driver, and another long jump with a dummy in the car. It was pretty exciting seeing the filming up close. Something I noticed in the new movie reminded me of something that I've heard Dukes creator Gy Waldron mention in an interview before. I have heard Waldron state that had the series continued past '85, there was a possibilty that they were going to have the Dukes talk to the General Lee and possibly have someone do a voice-over for the General Lee. Not only would fans just be able to see this car that in many ways was as much of a cast member as any of the actors, but they would be able to hear the car's perspective.
