I just saw Ben "Cooter" Jones him day before yesterday while his band performed in Suffolk, Virginia. I can tell you that he is so friendly you just wouldn't beleive it. He stayed WAY after the show was over shaking hands, posing for pictures with people and just talking with them. I was there for two hours as people waited the whole time in a seemingly never-ending line just for an autograph. He went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable, even way past dark and in 95 degree humidity, he kept on smiling. And the band was great. He said, "I'm not really a singer...I'm an actor. The General Lee makes the HOT ROD magazine August issue. Inside the magazine are some behind the scenes shots with the General Lee and the awesome jump that I got to witness being an extra. I picked it up today at Autozone--seen the cover---turned to the page and was soooo excited!

So uh..about 15 minutes ago my wife and I are watching tv and in a span of about 60 seconds we came across the the trailer for the new movie on 3 different channels. About midway through the second running of the trailer she blurts out "Boobs and undercarriage boobs and undercarriage, thats all I see!" I couldnt help but laugh at my wife's outburst.. My parents just finished watching The Dukes of Hazzard movie. They're actually on their way home from the theatre in Atlanta as I'm typing this. I asked my mom to give me her opinion without giving away too much info as I want to be surprised when I see it on opening night. My mom said that this is definately not a movie for children due to some of the content, but mostly the language. She wasn't as negative and as I thought she would be. With the opening of the new movie and just the fact that I am a big Dukes fan I want to feature a General Lee on the cover on the next issue of the magazine but I need to find someone in my area that is hiding one in there garage. I want it to be as close to the original as possible. I went to Chryslers in Carlisle, PA on Friday but the ones I saw there on Friday weren't quit right.
