Hey y'all, sorry for trashing the new movie so dang badly,i know it's cruel of me and wasn't thinking of how I was either offending some and discouraging others! Sure,the idea of keeping the dukes alive is one thing,and seeing the general lee in action on the big screen is rather interesting,I just wish they would've had the right cast for the movie! my idea is that this movie should be more of a mesh of the first 2 episodes of the show, and the movie that this show was inspired by, i tink it was called the moonshiners or moon shine runners, something like that.

now, im Not tearing the new flick to shreds here But... in a recent post the most popular word on any message board was muttered there, "Crybaby". I was an extra during the filming out at the raceway in Erwinville for the beginning and finish of the rally race. I had a great time during the filming and even more so when I saw myself in the movie on the big screen. I want to thank the casting and production people on behalf of all the extras from here in Louisiana for the opportunity to participate in such a fun movie.

Ok guys, I have been reading a lot of posts about the new movie. People are upset about the cast and compare them to the TV show actors. First things first, I love the show as much as anyone but lets be truthful. Some of the actors were bad...very bad. John Scheinder and Catherine Bach are probably two of the worst actors ever. Bach looked good but, not that great. Even if Jessica Simpson can't act she can't be as bad as Bach. Lets face it, she looks way better than Bach did in the show. Is this ture. On the Dukefest part of this forum it said they have just gone back to the set where they shot this film and re-shot some more stuff for this movie and on the CTM forum it said they have re-shot some more stuff for this movie but in Hollywood on the set they used for the tv show. I know that alot of films have to have bits re-shot after they have finished shooting. Can someone tell me please what is going on.?

Hey I just finished season 2 on DVD, and thought it was great, well obviously it was...it was the DUKES! Hey when are we gunna see season 3,4, etc? Is it based on the Success of the movie? Thanks

i heat the so called (BLEEP) dukes of hazzard movie the tv show is a hell of alot better and funnyer and the tv show is a family show one i would let my kids watch if i had kids but why does that matter no way in hell would i let them see this movie unless they had their own apartment and even then if I knew they watched it I wouldn't speak to them for a year. I just spoke with the guy that helps organize our local classic car Cruise-In and he told me that Deputy Enos Strate will be appearing at the next Cruise-In which is the 4th Friday of July, that is July 22, 2005. I know season 5 of the Dukes of Hazzard starts with Coy & Vance as replacements till much later in the season when Bo & Luke return. I was curious if all 4 ever appeared in the same episode? I would assume if this ever happened it happened during the episode Bo & Luke returned.
