Howdy y'all! I think the roles of Hogg and Coltrane should've been the other way around in this feature film. M. C. Gainey should've played Hogg and Burt Reynolds should've played Coltrane. Y'alls thoughts?

I saw a commercial tonight for The Walking Dead. It was about fans coming together and becoming friends over the show. One of the fans said something along the lines of "I've created a family out of a tv show." Well, Dukes fans have been doing that for FORTY years! I know I'm not around here as often, but you all have helped me through some tough times. You're my Dukes family.

I'm hoping to take my family to Cooter's place soon. I saw that Catherine Bach is going to be in Luray on May 14/15. There is also a car show that weekend. I'd love to meet both Cooter and Daisy on the same trip, but I'm a little concerned about the crowds. Have any of you been to one of these events, and if so, how were the crowds. If it's so busy that you can't get through the line to meet Daisy or Cooter, then maybe it would be better to go on a "non special" weekend and just meet Cooter in a more relaxed atmosphere. Its my day off today and being the roommate of someone who watches CMT alot, all the recent viewings of past Dukes of Hazzrd episodes and the talks about the new movie coming out has really got me reminiscing alot. Hi, I'm looking for a birthday present for my brother. We grew up watching the Dukes and although I like everything Duke, he is a bigger fan than I. I've already done some searching but have come up with nothing. What I'm looking for is any Dukes audio books on CD. If anyone can help me out with a link, thanks. I also have a question. Was there a book that originated before that started it all, or did it just start in TV? And if there is an origin book, especially a CD audio version that would be cool if someone could link me to that info. Thanks again.

On Friday... UTEP (The University of Texas at El Paso) had their homecoming parade. My husband works for the university so naturally he had a front row seat to the festivities. Among the old time cars and mustangs that were featured was one he had to mention... At the front of the parade was a familiar site.. a orange stock car with big 01 on the side... yup! The General Lee in all its glory, complete with Dixie horn and big Confederate flag) was the leader! The driver behind it periodically blasted the Dixie horn, much to the amusement of the gathered crowd... I just thought that was pretty cool and I had to share it! Jax

Hello, I am asking the questions aboot the dukes of hazard programme on the tv in 1970/80`s. I am posted these things but they do not appear.I apogise english not good very well !. I've been a little stressed out lately with all I've been taking on so I'm going to try a little experiment. I'm going to go a whole week without using my computer. Please don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I've become a bit of a slave to this contraption and it's starting to get to me. The only thing I'm going to do is check my e-mail once a day. That's it! I wish I didn't have to do that but I'm working on getting a book published so I have to. The book is one of the things that's been stressing me out but, mostly, I just need a break. I know where I live it is....all kinds of convinient back roads to drive off on to with lots of fun shortcuts and dips and humps to jump over. I may not have ramped very high because my little 82 Corolla would never handle it, but I have had him flyin a few times. Plus there's always someone around to have a race with and around here a lot of people ever talk like the country boys do. With a lot of "improper" english. I even have my own CB...although, it's not in my car....yet...
