I had the weirdest dream....I was standing on this old dirt road and the General pulls up, Luke was driving it *yay* and he asked if I needed a ride. Greetings all and great website! I hope others enjoy this post. Let's track down this instrumental music! I think everyone wants to have that infamous instrumental music played on the first 6 episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard" that was filmed in Covington, GA before moving to California. Especially the FIRST episode during the chase scenes. Well, still no luck. BUT, I came across a Waylon Jennings tune called - "Big Ball In Cowtown". It's on his 1976 'live' album. This song sounds VERY & EXTREMELY similar to the instrumental music. Once you hear this song, you'll agree. I bet this song was the influence for the instrumental music. -Dar. I've chosen the colour, got the graphics sorted, working on the wheels, then photoshopped my plans. This is what my car will look like around Christmas time when it is finished.

I don't think it was ever mentioned but I imagine we could take a decent guess. It's probably in a range of 300- 3,000. The reason I gave such a wide range, is because of the time it showed the Hazzard Co. high school cheer leaders, football team etc. To have THAT many kids at that certain age, you'd probably have to have a few thousand people in your population.

Most of the DOH seasons are double sided DVDs, and it always seems that the side up seems to get scratched or damaged. There's one side of a disc on Season 1 that won't play at all. And the first time I opened Season 3 yesterday, there was something sticky on the disc. I got the sticky junk off of it, but damaged it in the process. Now one episode skips. Is there a way to buff out the damage or fix it somehow? I still am angry that you can't buy any movies or shows in VHS. If they had released the episodes in EP or SLP on a T-160 tape, you could fit a full season on 2 tapes. Picture quality may not be quite as good, but with a VHS tape at least it will play all the way th…

*sigh* It's been a rough year. First, we had my cancer to deal with. I'm back at work and stress at work is not helping with my recovery. Now, our dog's liver isn't working right and we have to schedule a liver biopsy and possibly an ultrasound. He's anywhere from 9 to 12 years old, our vet guesses closer to 12. We can't have kids, so our dog is our baby. I'm super stressed out. I would like a long stretch of good news for a change.

Some of you may have read my post. I am a crazy fan of the Dukes from Rosario, Argentina. Two years ago, I bought the entire series, but I was a victim of a scam. My dvd's are not subtitled into Spanish, maybe they are not originals, but I paid the price of the originals! My problem is: I've searched the length and width of the web and only found subtitles for the first season. I can't find the subtitles of the season 2 to 7. And I feel very sad. Noticing the whole retirement of Jeff Gordon last night got me to thinking... I've never been into NASCAR racing. I've never cared for it. Now that isn't to say that I don't like racing. No, what I grew up with and prefer instead was more akin to Hazzard's answer to racing - the Dirt Tracks. I grew up watching what I believe are referred to as Sprint Cars, racing the mud tracks - in person.
