Y'all I think it's time for a new phone. I think this one is done for. It's doing some weird things. Like screen burn/ghosting. YouTube is still visible long after I close it out, and on Facebook, it does not make the popping bubble snap noise anymore when I click on like in the comments of posts directly. But odd that it still makes the noise when I click on comments of posts in my Facebook news feed. What do y'all think? On its last legs?

Any topic that I Skipper Duke rate 1 star does not mean I think the topic is poor although that is what 1 star means. However, for me on the forums anything I rate 1 star is because it makes me sad such as cast member deaths etc.

I was driving yesterday with my wife in the passenger seat and I was talking about the Dukes of Hazzard....specifically about boards I'm going to be getting from the original Duke farm. Anyway, that subject always makes me a little sad, even though I'm happy to be getting some historic souveniers. Noticing the whole retirement of Jeff Gordon last night got me to thinking... I've never been into NASCAR racing. I've never cared for it. Now that isn't to say that I don't like racing. No, what I grew up with and prefer instead was more akin to Hazzard's answer to racing - the Dirt Tracks. I grew up watching what I believe are referred to as Sprint Cars, racing the mud tracks - in person. I don't care for it on the TV - has to have that authenticity that comes with being there in person with the sounds and the smell of the exhaust and.. *sigh*. Does anyone know what "Dukes Of Hazzard: Tv Favourites" is going to be about? It's being released on September 27th 2005 on Amazon.com by Warner Bros.

Most of the DOH seasons are double sided DVDs, and it always seems that the side up seems to get scratched or damaged. There's one side of a disc on Season 1 that won't play at all. And the first time I opened Season 3 yesterday, there was something sticky on the disc. I got the sticky junk off of it, but damaged it in the process. Now one episode skips. Is there a way to buff out the damage or fix it somehow? I still am angry that you can't buy any movies or shows in VHS. If they had released the episodes in EP or SLP on a T-160 tape, you could fit a full season on 2 tapes. Picture quality may not be quite as good, but with a VHS tape at least it will play all the way th…

So I live in the great state of Ohio and in high school. I keep hearing about these appearances and I keep thinking, why don't they come to Cincinnati or Dayton. Just somewhere close to me or be at an event that I go to. It's annoying to see all these and know I can't go to them. I just keep wishing. Then tomorrow there's the thing at Cooter's Garage I think in Nashville and I wish I could go because that would be a really cool birthday gift. I would love my parents forever. I bet none of this will happen anytime soon, so I just need to keep on dreamin' and wishin'. (And Tom's appearance in Canton was too far away for us. So ya know.)

Hi everyone, I just got off the phone with Tom Sarmento and he asked me to update everyone on the condition of Al Wyatt, Jr. Al is still having a lot of problems from the staph infection/knee surgery which he recently had. Recovery has not gone well to this point. Medication has also caused some problems as Al has some slurred speech and is extremely tired. He lives close to the beach in Malibu and always spent a lot of time in the water. That is impossible for him now. His wife, Susan, told Tom that Al will be admitted into the hospital again tomorrow, Monday, May 4, where he will be prepped for a new surgery. He will be released on Tuesday, May 5, to go home and …

Got to go to Cooters in Gatlinburg this trip! Got to meet Rick Hurst for the first time. He is such a nice guy, he gave to 2 autographs for the price of one. Also got lots of Dukes stuff. Had so much fun!! Might post pics later. (And I finally got my Buck knife 110 like Bo and Luke's)

Hi All, I bought seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. While watching Season 1 and Daisy's Song, Daisy is talking to the sleazy record executive about how her voice sounds like two country singers. The second singer's name that is spoken comes out as "Loretta Lynn", but the characters lips when speaking don't seem to indicate the words "Loretta Lynn". Does someone know what happened? Did the Dukes have to change the name as the original person did not want their name mentiioned? Thanks,

With the Coy and Vance episodes looking to start this week on CMT, it got me thinking what might could have been done with these characters if the producers just hadn't made them simple Bo and Luke clones. Here's my take on what could have been done with these characters: First, Coy. What if Coy and his family were still running shine? Nowhere was it stated that Jesse was the only Duke in the shine business and if it was a family tradition, it seems to me that some of his brothers and sisters would have been in it as well.
