April 12, 201115 yr The full guide can be found in this thread, but the key instructions are:"After you login, choose UserCP->Edit Avatar and put the URL to your avatar or upload your avatar."You'll find 'UserCP' on the menu bar at the top of the screen. For new members the avatar options are grayed out until you get through your 'probation' period (I think it's 10 posts, so you should be OK). If the options are still grayed out I'd suggest you send a PM to one of the moderators.Regarding the picture you choose, there are certain restrictions on the size of file you can use (excuse technical bit): the picture should be no bigger than 150 x 150 pixels and have a file size under 19.5kb. To put this in context, most users have an avatar about 100 x 125 pixels, so that's about the size to look for.If you need any more info or help just post your question in this thread or send me a PM.
