If you all are like me, you worry whether or not future seasons of DOH will be released on DVD... Well, if history reoeats itself, perhaps WB will release seasons to coincide with the release of the move to theaters and the release of the movie on DVD. If that holds true, then we should at least get up to season 4 on DVD. Man, you don't know how much I want the entire show to be released on DVD! LOL

I posted this over on the General Lee site, but I thought I'd post it here, too. Just a little of my silliness y'all might get a kick out of. I wrote this poem last year, but I decided to make an audio recording of it for everyone and I gathered some photos to make a little video. Looking for suggestions for police belt/holster setups to match the Hazzard law. My head is swimming after over an hour on eBay looking at vintage stuff, I just don't know. And tough to tell from the DOH show photos I tried looking at....

Now there is something I have to know and if anybody can respond before Friday, I would be most grateful. CARNIVAL OF THRILLS: Is this episode in its original 2 hour movie format, or is the episode in its daily syndicated 2 parter format? The answer to this question will help me know what to expect when I view the episode, plus it will give me an idea of what they will do with the 10 Million Dollar Sheriff in the season four boxset. I have found a really cool DOH desktop theme the only thing I see wrong is there isnt a general lee cursor *sniff*. I have seen other themes that have the mouse being something like a pistol or some other cool object. If anyone knows where I can find a general lee cursor to download to go with the theme I'd be obliged for the info. Miz Smarteepantz

I've been thinking lately how I'll never own a repicla of any vehicle from the show then it hit me.....I love dirt bikes. I have since I was little. Maybe I should consider making a replica of Mix Tisdales motorcycle. Is it possible to find out what year and engine size it was? Im no Cooter but I am good enough with dirt bikes to fix one up if I could get one that was the right model and year. I'm embarrassed I can't tell what it is by just seeing it but since I can't I hope someone can help. THANKS

I was driving in the dark last night and something dawned on me. I can't remember a single scene in all 7 years where the General Lee was being driven at night. Maybe I'm getting old and losing my memory. Can anybody think of one? "Strange Visitor to Hazzard" maybe? Oh yea!!..I think they drove the alien to meet his spaceship at night. Is that the only one?

Hi all, You've probably already noticed but in "High Octane" (the episode I'm watching as I'm writing this) at about 2:27 into the episode when the boys are pulling up to the courthouse the General's grille is damaged, probably because it is the same car used for the famous semi-truck jump at the start of the episode, the noticeable damage is the right headlight hood, which has been forced open, other damage includes the silver "splitter" in the middle of the grille, which has been pushed inwards, that's all I can see in the original footage, it would probably need to be remastered to see more of the damage, anyway that's all from me, 10:4 Joe

I wonder if anyone can relate to this. At the end of each episode when the General is going in circles around the trees and the law is in hot pursuit while the credits are running, I actually get sad. I think it comes from the old days when that meant that you had to wait a whole week to see the next episode. (I remember when I was younger feeling the same way about Saturday morning cartoons). Anyway, those feeling are still there today even though I can watch any episode any time I want. For some reason, it still chokes me up to see the show is over. Oh no, I'm getting depressed now just thinking about that closing scene. I guess it's nothing that the next episode won't …

I was just wondering.... In a few episodes of the dukes, Sheriff Rosco was replaced by someone named Brady Bird. Does anyone know why?

Okay, just a little musing going on over here in England as I watch Dukes, and I've come across the reason I love them Dukes so much....aside from the very hot boys, incrediably smart and able girl, the family dynamic and the General Lee...its the fact that they live in a world where material things arn't important to them. Where finding a $5 bill is as exciting as finding a million, where all they have is land, family and an awsome race car and they're content with that. They dont care how much someone does or doesn't have, any extra money they get is usually donated to those who need it and they never actively seek out any reward for what they do around Hazzard. Hi everyone A few years ago I found a Facebook user who was working on how many General Lee's had been estimated to be destroyed per episode and by each season. He had used HD to pick up on the difference between each car used and even which ones had reused doors from previous jumps. His estimated numbers wasn't as high as how many had been destroyed but unfortunately I can't find the post and I haven't found anyone else who had done similar research.
