Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion

l know there was an episode where a group of senior citizens were angry at Boss. One of them left his detonator at the farm and Bo and Luke thought it belonged to Uncle Jesse. l have all 7 seasons on DVD and want to watch it but don't know what the episode is called. Haven't seen that one in about 5 years.

My 1st crush ever. She made my notice girls. I was 9 years old watching the reruns on the old TNN(The Nashville Network/The National Network) which is now Spike TV.

Which do you like more Hazzard from 1979 and from 1985 or from Hazzard from 2005 film ???? Ame that movie sucked it wasn't like the TV series

A while back I came across a website that had a lot to do with The Dukes of Hazzard. Featured on that website was a build for someone that had recreated LEE 3 not a model car but a real General Lee. It had tons of information and pictures. I can't seem to recall what the website was. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you know the Italian version of The Dukes theme is called Bo e Luke? Some of the words are "Bo e Luke aha"

Many of you know the Dukes' farmhouse in Georgia has been demolished. I think it'd be cool if somebody bought the property and turned it into a Dukes museum; an exact replica of how it looked in 1978. Thoughts? Obviously I can't do it. I'm a broke 16 year old in Michigan.

A couple things Ive noticed in the inside covers of the 2 season DVDs: Season 1 DVD, in the pic with the crash between the General, the COP car, and the black car, the door of the General Lee is slightly ajar(supposed to be welded shut). Season 2 DVD, in the pic with the patrol car, the General and everyone posing,on the front license plate of the patrol car, the confederate flag is airbrushed out. (that kinda pi--ed me off)

Hey, you guys remember when this guy jumped out of the outhouse just before Rosco ( ?) hit it? Do you also remember when those crooks were chasing Bo/Luke and they kept going around and around the square and then he finally got into his truck and just before he closed his door the crooks hit it and knocked it off? I think he was the same guy. For some reason he reminds me of Mclean Stevens ( MASH). That's one of those characters that appeared briefly . I don't think he had a name though.

Probably a very basic question that's already been done over the years, but what do you personally consider to the be the best season of the show? Mine would be the first season. I'm a huge fan of the original Georgia episodes, more dramatic and edgy, I've always wished that much of that had continued. Even after episode 5, the first season is a strong one for being experimental and not very generic, and with less slapstick than later seasons. Beyond season 1, which is so different it's sometimes hard to compare, I would definitely rate Season 3 as the show's best. Hey y'all I was watching Witness for Persecution earlier and noticed a couple of flaws in the slaw. The first is when Enos pulls up at the Duke farm to talk to Bo and Luke. As he pulls away the camera pans out to a wideshot of the farm yard. Anyone notice anything at the right of the screen? The second is when the two hit men are backing out of the tunnel. There's a brief shot of the interior of the car. Anyone notice anything in the background? And finally the crew for that episode must also have worked on Bullitt,because the cougar is constantly seen with hubcaps missing in one scene and on the car in the next scene. Wanted to know if anyone knew of this event taking place fromm North Carolina to Covington Georgia (filming location of the 1st 5 episodes of the Dukes). Did it ever show where Rosco lived? Or his life at home?

I`ve only seen the first season of the DOH and the 2nd and the 3rd season are on the way, but i want to ask whether there was an episode where 3 or more cars were after the general, just like smokey and the bandit, instead of just Enos/Cletus and Roscoe. I love the fist fights in the boars nest, but in season 1, there were only two fights, does the number increase in the upcoming seasons ? GREAT SHOW

Awhile ago, I watched Mars Attacks (1996) and there was a scene about halfway through the movie where the aliens have a TV or something in the spaceship and the flip the channels. One of the things you see is a small part of the intro,the part where it shows the General Leecruising down the road and makes a hard turn to the left. It;s were the title comes up on the screen. I gonna go watch that part agian (in the movie).

which you like best picture on opening on any season? because I notice after 6th or 7th little different from first or second season because 5 and 4th season with cletus, so which you like best? I need to know if there was ever a scene of The Dukes where you'd see Daisy and Enos dancing together? I know there was one in season one, but it was at the very end and not very long Anybody know of anything else?

Just seen a new Dukes of Hazzard complete series set @ my local Walmart for $59.99, looks like it would take up less than half the shelf space of the old season sets. This is an official WB release not a lower definition Mill Creek release like a lot of other 80's tv complete sets are.

I like that sound when the Dukes shift the General Lee gears. The motor goes vroom vroom. Anybody else like that sound too?

hi guys, I almost dream about that last night and why Hoggs hate Dukes, Sheriff chase dukes all time that order from boss or what reason for? how hazzard county getting grow up from old classic to new like change vehicles or buidlings? Why we need senior citizen house and sports field for kids do we need it? why not we can see dukes and others that how grow up become be before high school look like we did bit little in film and little episode on field. On part of the site, here, it says that Bo is the youngest of the 3 cousins but I believe Daisy was the youngest of the 3, Bo was just younger than Luke.
