  1. Mufn, If I happen to win the drawing, can I choose for you to pick another person as the winner? Like how Bo and Luke did with race winnings. Congratulations to many more posts and years here at Hnet!
  2. The Real Dukes Of Hazzard: The Jerry Rushing Story - Epilogue, p. 307 quote "If I had a real wish for the many Dukes Of Hazzard fans, it would be that they not only continue to enjoy the fun and the joy that it brought to many of us over the years, but that they would see through the fun and comedy to this real-life story of the man behind the story." Jerry Elijah Rushing Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!
  3. I'm really sorry to hear about the divorce. Hope things get better for you without having to sell your General Lee.

  12. MaryAnne made being a ghost sound like fun, Brian. The pictures are awesome, MaryAnne. Thanks to both of you for sharing! There is still time for people to enter the challenge.
  13. Lori, maybe a one person focus piece will apease your muse? There could be a benefit to being a ghost... keeping MaryAnne & Brian busy. And isn't that our civic duty? <grin> Like jury duty.
  14. *notices something different on the calendar* Happy Birthday, Dixie Ross & B.C., hope everyone had a great day!

  18. Page 4 Epilogue "At the end of a five - week drunken blackout bender I was in horrible agony, in a terrifying place down below the darkest, hottest pits of hell. But here I was just eleven years later, internationally famous as "Cooter" on the hit tv show The Dukes Of Hazzard and now "Honorable" Mr. Jones of Georgia. Being there that day was evidence of a personal transformation that only a loving God could shape." Page 147 "I was broke, a financial zero minus alot. Physically, I was on the verge of death. And I had long been spiritually bankrupt. You might say I had nowhere to go but up." Page 290 "and to pray that my turn would come to someday see where the tracks finally end. I have come to that place now and it is good."
  19. Will work on getting a quote. You're welcome, Brian.

It definitely could be described as inspirational and educational text for those recovering from addiction. I know someone that this book helped over this past Labor Day 2008. Trying to understand a loved one's addiction and recovery.
  21. I agree to the terms outlined in post #1 of this thread. I, DaneyD have the date noted for when a new holiday adventure is to be turned in.
  22. Redneck Boy In The Promised Land, there isn't alot of talk about Hazzard County. Favorite parts were about Miss Ila. A few sensitive topics. Some funny moments. Will everyone like every single word, probably not. A decent balance of trying to put a life into two hundred, ninety two pages.
  23. morgan, hopefully by now you were able to find out what happened. Season 4 premiere is tonight!
