Has anyone else read this book since it's release? It is a good representation of Mr. Best's life journey. Interesting facts and never before seen photos in three hundred twenty one pages. One of my favorites quotes is "I had not forgotten Burt's earlier generosity, the true act of friendship he offered at a time when I was in dire need". He is referring to Burt Reynolds. Moments from their friendship are shared. Including one that involves Jerry Reed and the making of Gator. He details several Dukes Of Hazzard experiences. Like how Rick Hurst found out he was no longer a cast member. There is a snapshot of Jimmie with FireCreek, a favorite painting. Personal life, early films, stunt work and film school. So much in this legacy writing, including poetry. Thank you Mr. Best for taking the time to write and share.

Oct 1st is the next episode of Season 5 titled "The End", set in the future. Sept 10th - "Sympathy For The Devil" - season premiere Sept 17th - "Good God Yall" -Rufus, Ellen & Jo make an appearance. Has an updated spin on the Four Horsemen. Sept 24th - "Free To Be Me And You" - Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man plays in a scene. While Sam spends time on his own, Dean & Castiel hunt for an Archangel named Raphael.

Would've been nice if Buckshot had been finished. One liner stories are similar to how a tv or movie script are written. In 2000 or 2001, there was an rr that had one liners and descriptive writing. At the time, didn't know many people and scared. The basic theme was to have fun and not be serious! Almost a decade later, remember the friendship & encouragement that strangers gave, than what happened in the adventure. I respect everyone's feelings on the manner whether they agree or not. Daney

Most interesting were page 68 text under the picture, last paragraph on 219 to mid 220, and last coupla lines on page 289. It was good reading! Daney

Last I heard awhile back, there was only a few folks showing up. It's a great event, maybe it wasn't a good time frame for alotta folks?

You're right, Capt! His 2008 apperance would be a link. Cold Case is the show! In episode #2- Gleen. A character works in a fire station. In a scene, behind him on the wall... you don't see the whole thing, there is a Daisy Duke poster <grin> Daney
