  1. Did anyone 'sides me notice that in Season 4 Dukes in Danger, the shirt escaped convict Leeman stole to wear was Bo's Blue shirt from Season 1 High Octane, and the shirt Hammer stole to wear was Bo's Red Checkered Plaid Flannel from the flashbacks in Season 7 Happy Birthday General Lee.
  2. I have discovered through rewatches, it's not just the General Lee. Daisy's Road Runner, even the patrol cars make that sound sometimes. Wow!
  3. HossC... The audio and on camera commentaries of Season 3 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' by Tom Wopat (Luke Duke), John Schneider (Bo Duke) and Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) mentions some of The Andy Griffith Show was filmed at the Hazzard Square set. Is it true?
  4. Season 7 No More Mr. Nice Guy. Bo and Luke are chasing one of the bad guys and a bad girl who is their partner. The bad guy and girl escape the train, General Lee stops on the tracks. The lights are flashing with the ding ding ding sound the railroad crossings make. Luke:"What'd you stop for?" Bo:"I didn't. The General did." They look at each other and hurry up and get out the windows. Luke runs to the back. Bo reaches in and puts it in gear so it will roll forward when they push. Luke (Before Bo joins him to help push.):"Put it in neutral, dummy!" It freezes for the commercial. Waylon Jennings:"Now, boys, I know you've been pushin' yer luck. But, that was just a warm up fer the pushin' you better be doin' now." They make it just in time. The train comes by honking its horn. Bo (Yelling at the driver):"Thanks a lot Wendell!"
  5. Dukes of Hazzard Fun Fact: Did you know? The General Lee's iconic Confederate flag decal was sometimes made using a surprising material... white cloth medical tape! That's right, the white rectangle and 13 stars and white outline around the blue border where the stars went were crafted with tape, not paint or vinyl. Mind. Blown. 6. Y'all... I spotted Fred and Lamont Sanford's truck of Sanford and Son in The Dukes of Hazzard Season 3 Uncle Boss(filmed in Season 2 aired in Season 3.) The truck can be seen in Hazzard Square when Rosco starts chasing Luke & Cooter when he thinks they're running moonshine, after he saw them load the trunk with the boxes, after Uncle Jesse's disguised voice phone call tip off to him. In the clip, the truck can be seen at 0:03.
  7. Y'all... What kind of car is Jamie Lee Hogg's Brown car?
  8. Dukes Trivia: The Dukes recall the larcenous circumstances of the General Lee's purchase on the car's 8th birthday. True or False?
  9. Fun Fact: Season 6 How to Succeed in Hazzard was originally to be a Hughie Hogg episode. But Jeff Altman was not available for it. So they brought in Robert Morse (Dewey Hogg) who in the storyline was Hughie's brother. Trivia: The episode's title How to Succeed in Hazzard is a play on words of Morse's successful stage play How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
  10. Season 6 How to Succeed in Hazzard. (Luke & Daisy are in General Lee chasing Dewey Hogg's ambulance.) Ambulance Driver:"Them Dukes are following us!" (Dewey Hogg flips a switch on in the back of the ambulance where he's riding at. It activates an oil slick.) Waylon Jennings:"It looks like ol' Dewey's emergency vehicle is prepared fer any emergency. Including the Dukes." Daisy:"Luke! That's oil!" Luke:"Hang on sweetheart! We're goin' fer a ride!"
  11. Season 4 Hughie Hogg Strikes Again They're chasing Hughie Hogg in his motorhome. (Hughie pushes a green button on the dashboard and drops glass on the road.) Luke:"You better slow down. We're gonna have to take the chance to lose him."(On the CB to Hughie.)"Ok Hughie, you can pull over. Yer little trick didn't work." Hughie(On CB to Luke.)"Yeah? Well, maybe this will! Ha ha!" (Pushes the red button. An oil slick dumps on the road.) Bo:"Oh come on!" Luke:"Keep it straight!" Bo:"I'm turning, it's turning!"
  12. Rosco's siren goes on. Luke:"Bo. He's pullin' us." Bo:"Awe shoot. Now we'll be late for the grand opening of the park. It opens in 5 minutes. No way we'll make it on time now. I'm gonna run away." Luke:"No. You'll pull over like Uncle Jesse said. Let him handle it Bo." Bo:"Ok." Gives in reluctantly on Luke's advice. Daisy:"It's all yours Uncle Jesse. Do your magic." Cue Roger Duke, or Garrett Duke
  13. I'm out of reactions. So here's your lol.
  14. The sky is blue the sun is shining. Not a cloud in the sky. We see the General Lee zooming along. Balladeer:"Well, sir, it was a lovely Spring morning in Hazzard County. The Dukes had just finished their chores, and has their breakfast. They were excited about the grand opening of the new Tri-County Amusement Park. They were on their way over there for a little family day that they had planned." Rosco comes out of his speed trap when they zoom by him. Luke:"Bo, they're playin' our song!" Cue Roger Duke, or Garrett Duke
  15. Season 7 Happy Birthday General Lee Luke:"Bo." Bo:"Awe shoot. It's them again." Rick:"Pull over you rubes, we want that car!" Luke:"Why don't leave us alone!? We bought this car, it's ours!" Bo:"Luke." Rick(Waving gun menacingly.):"Yeah!? An' this here says it's ours! Now pull over!" Luke:"Yeah. Alright! You got us. We'll pull right over." (Softly to Bo so only he can hear.)"Hit it!" Bo:"What?" Luke:"Go!" Luke:"We left the dang bows an' arrows back in the trunk!" Bo:"Well, the General needed a trial run. He's gettin' it." Bo:"Dang it, those 2 never give up. Oh great, the dang bridge is washed out!" Rick:"We got 'em now!" Luke:"Why ain't you slowin' down!? We're gonna crash!" Bo:"Well, wish me luck!" Luke:"Bo!" Waylon Jennings:"Folks, this is a historic moment. The first jump ever made by General Lee." Rick:"It's ok sugar. We'll have to take the long around. But we'll get 'em!" Luke:"You alright?" Bo:"Yeah." Luke:"We just jumped a dang creek!" Bo:"Yeah! General Lee always was a Calvary man huh?" Luke:"We built more into this car than just plugs an' pistons I guess." Bo:"Fightin' spirit of the South! Come on cousin, we got us a race to win!" Luke:"Hang on a second. I'm gonna go grab the bow and arrows, 'cause I don't wanna have to do that again." Bo:"General, yer somethin' else. We jumped right over that creek, didn't we?" Luke:"We sure did!" Bo:"Clean over it! Yeah hoo!" Waylon Jennings:"And this is the Boars Nest 8 years ago. Well, at least it didn't deteriorate. And this is the startin' line of the big race, that's either gonna save the Duke Farm or plow it under."
  16. I'm entering my boat. 1964 Wheeler. S. S. MINNOW
  17. I like that sound when the Dukes shift the General Lee gears. The motor goes vroom vroom. Anybody else like that sound too?
  18. Dukes of Hazzard fan alert! I just realized a clever callback in the show. In Season 1 Episode 4, "Repo Men," Luke says "You get the feeling we've been here before?" when Rosco confiscates the Rolls Royce. But what most fans might not know is that this line is a nod to Season 7 Episode 1, "Happy Birthday General Lee," where Rosco takes their truck, leaving them stranded! The writers cleverly wove this continuity Easter egg into the series, and I'm loving the connection! Who else has caught similar callbacks in The Dukes of Hazzard? Share your favorite moments! #DukesOfHazzard #TheDukes #GeneralLee #Rosco #BoDuke #LukeDuke
  19. Dukes of Hazzard trivia alert! I just noticed something I never caught before... In Season 1's "Luke's Love Story," Amy Creevy's Ford Mustang "Lucifer" has the number 13. And in Season 7's "Happy Birthday General Lee," Boss Hogg's Chevy Malibu "Hogg's Hellcat" also has the number 13! Coincidence or clever detail? Share your favorite Dukes moments with me! #DukesOfHazzard #GeneralLee #HazzardCounty
  20. Cousin Roger Duke (Uncle Jesse)... Strange Visitor to Hazzard probably won't get many views either when it becomes available. Lol.
  21. Y'all... Robot P. Coltrane is available.
  22. Oops Cousin Roger Duke. I mean Episode 15. Days of Shine and Roses is 14.
  23. Season 7 Happy Birthday General Lee. Bo and Luke are in Cooter's truck hauling the old wrecked Black Charger from Capitol City Junkyard back to Cooter's Garage in Hazzard to turn it into the General Lee. They almost have a crash. They avoid the oncoming car. Luke:"That was close enough!" Bo:"We almost got sent to the pits, before we even started the race!"
  24. Cousin Roger Duke... That's in Season 2 Episode 1 Gold Fever. Overall episode 14 of 147.
