Cousin Roger... Jr. Brown covered Waylon's Nashville Rebel on the CD Lonesome On'ry and Mean A Tribute to Waylon Jennings. It's a CD of Waylon songs sung by other stars.

Cousin Roger Jr. Brown is a Country Music singer and Gary Cole is an actor. Gary Cole played in that picture Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. He's the guy who gets thrown out of Applebee's in a scene.
