When asked to comment on his 1980 movie Raise The Titanic, the producer/maker said "Raise The Titanic. It would've been cheaper to lower the bloody Atlantic!" Very pricey movie. Due the special effects and the giant 55 foot life sized miniature model big enough for people to walk on. Most of the budget was spent on building that giant model. Clive Cussler author of the book the movie is based on of the same name he was not happy with the end result, and refused to sell that studio the rights to make anymore movies based on his books for awhile.

(Season 5 A Little Game of Pool) Vance Duke:" How far back are Boss an' Rosco!?" Coy Duke:"A little more than spittin' distance. Why's that?" Vance Duke:"I wanna make sure they can't see us! Hold on."(Drives the General Lee into bushes and turns around, stops facing the road he just turned off of.) The bad guys, Boss and Rosco go whizzing by. Coy Duke:(Slapping his thighs)"Would you mind tellin' me what we're doin'!?" Vance Duke:"That road comes together again up near the bridge. What do you say we let Boss an' Rosco catch those crooks for us?"

Did ya know The Dukes n The Waltons shared locations? The orphanage ran by Ira Grant in Season 6 A Boy's Best Friend is the Walton house. Knight Rider shared locations too. The Indian Dunes Sticks River jump, the Duke Farm n the Boars Nest.

I talked to Ray. He is in talks with Facebook Denver Pyle Tribute Artist David Daniels aka David Jesse Duke to take over for the late Dean Jaech as Uncle Jesse at these stunt shows.

How can ANYONE not like this show???!

What kind of dealings did those two have before this ? When Bo goes to Cletus’s house with the new truck he says there ain’t gonna be no more Snowman and the Bandit? Bandit also said I’ve done you wrong in the past?

Australian Kristopher Kalnins does not like The Dukes. He blasts it saying "To repetitive of a show. Every episode is the same thing. Rosco chases Dukes. They go someplace and lose him. Dukes try to save farm etc etc." When I chat about the show with him, he says "There you go onslaught me with it again!" According to him "Unsuccessful!" If so, then why'd it last 7 seasons 147 stories?
