  3. Thanks, Skipper. When you have a story like this that's not fully in public view, it's always best to cite/link to/quote sources. Otherwise, the information can come across as hearsay/speculation.
  4. Can you post the source of your story, Skipper? There's no mention of it on the Ray's NEOD's Twitter page, and the NEOD's Facebook page is just promoting their new video, 'STUNT/LIFE The Motion Picture'.
  5. QUIRT McQUADE (from 'Mary Kaye's Baby') There was a Possum Hollow in a couple of episodes and a Possum Hill in another, not to mention all the possums on gum bushes!

Since 2012, Austin has hosted the US Grand Prix (with the exception of 2020 when there was no race due to Covid). This year they've added Miami to the calendar to make it the first time since the '80s that the US has hosted two grands prix. Next year you'll get a third race at Las Vegas.

The Formula 1 race this weekend is at a brand new track that winds around the Miami Dolphins' Hard Rock Stadium. With first practice just over, it looks like Mercedes will be closer to Ferrari and Red Bull after a poor start to the season. As far as I can see, the race will be at 3.30pm ET on Sunday, which means it's 8.30pm for me.
  12. We understandably struggle with Qs, Xs and Zs, so it's OK to bend the rules on these letters. TriXie Hughie's genie from 'When You Wish Upon a Hogg'.
  13. VELVET Ears (I hope I don't need to explain this)
  14. Roger, I found a couple of passing references to a Hazzard Homecoming event in Covington on May 7th & 8th, which would be this weekend, but I couldn't find a website or any definitive information. There's a separate event called Hazzard Fest taking place at Greene County Fairgrounds in Greeneville, TN on September 23rd and 24th (that's Friday & Saturday). Details of that can be found here. They're advertising Catherine Bach (Sept. 23rd & 24th), John Schneider (Sept. 24th - Concert), Tom Wopat (Sept. 23rd & 24th) and Rick Hurst (Sept. 23rd & 24th). There's also Angelo Lamonea (Sept. 23rd & 24th) who performed stunts on 'Dukes' and 'Enos'.
  15. After about a 10 year hiatus from cinema going, I've seen two good but very different movies this year. 'Belfast' is based on real events that split streets and caused many to leave the city. 'The Phantom of the Open' is about an ordinary man who decided that he wanted to enter the British Open golf tournament. It's a comedy based on a true story. My brother recommended 'Operation Mincemeat', a WWII movie again based on a true story. I missed it when it was shown here.
  16. SAUGUS SPEEDWAY Santa Clarita racetrack used in a couple of episodes.
  17. Today is a bank holiday in Ireland, and I went to my first car show in a couple of years. I wasn't quite the turnout or era I was expecting, but there were some interesting cars there. There were also some stationary engines and a couple of working miniature traction engines. I'm sure that Roger would've enjoyed the vintage tractors. I know virtually nothing about them, but my friends spent a while looking over several of them and chatting with their owners. Yesterday I visited the Japanese Gardens & Irish National Stud. They're very near The Curragh, an area of common land known for its horse breeders. Despite the drizzle, the gardens were beautiful, with lots of unusual plants and stepping stones through a stream.
