JONAS JONES (Cooter's friend) As I recall, Doc Petticord didn't appear in 'Duke vs Duke' - the nurse helped Cooter out of his office, which is when we saw the sign with his first name, but we didn't actually see the doctor.

I had a couple of 1:10 Tamiya RC cars in the '80s. I started with the Holiday Buggy and then moved on to the F150 Ranger. For the latter, I also had the wheels and VW Baja Bug body to make it into the Sand Scorcher. The Ranger and Bug bodies where quite hard plastic, but very detailed. Seeing the prices they go for now, I kinda wish I still had them! There is an original Kyosho Optima partially disassembled in a box at my parents; house, but it's been there for over 30 years and I can't remember what parts it needed. There's a guy I watch on YouTube who does great videos of the Tamiya 1:14 trucks. It's amazing how technology has progressed to have models with multiple working lights and realistic sounds. I'd love one, but doubt my modeling skills after so many years, and I'd struggle to justify the expense. Also, it'd probably end up as a "shelf queen"!

Very interesting video. I look forward to seeing the build videos.

There shouldn't be any disadvantage, Roger. I just leave my laptop and phone signed in all the time.

Thanks, dukes fan uk. I think at least one of the aerial images on the first of this thread may have come from Historic Aerials. I definitely refer to the site in the Hazzard Square thread. -

F1 was back this weekend after its summer break. The old-school Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium is one of my favorites, but I was out for most of yesterday, so I missed the first couple of laps. Championship rivals Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc both qualified in the top four (1st and 4th respectively), but started in 14th and 15th places due to engine penalties, so their team mates Carlos Sainz Jnr and Sergio Perez were on the front row for the race. Lewis Hamilton made a reasonable start from fourth, but clashed with Fernando Alonso on the first lap and had to retire. Lewis later took the blame for the incident. Max made quick work of making his way to the front, helped partly by a safety car. Near the end, Ferrari called Charles into the pits for new tires to try to get the fastest lap. Their plan failed for two reasons: he was passed by Fernando Alonso, spoiling his lap before retaking the place, and he picked up a 5-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane losing the place again in the final result. Max went on to take an easy victory from the lowest start position his Red Bull team has ever achieved. With Red Bull's Sergio Perez finishing second, he now moves up to second in the championship behind Max's increasing lead. Belgium used to be seen as Max's home race due to its proximity to the Netherlands, but since last year, the Dutch Grand Prix has been back on the calendar, and that's where we're off to next week. You can see the highlights of the Belgian Grand Prix here.

Boss die cast 1/18 bull horns
HossC replied to DukefanDukesovenierfan's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Collectibles & Memorabilia
Welcome to HNet. I had a quick look online, but only came across a site selling much flatter 3d printed horns, and not in 1:18 scale. Andrew D Charger Chaser made a 1:25 replica of Boss' Cadillac a couple of years ago. You can see the finished model in the Hobbies forum. He also linked to some build shots - the post where he scratch-built the bull horns is here. -
What a pain. Something similar happened to me once when I was repainting a diecast model. It might have been the paint reacting to the undercoat in my case - this is not an skill I know much about. I moved house soon afterwards, and I've still never returned to the project.

Another day by the sea for me today, this time almost as far south-east as you can go in Ireland. The sun never properly broke through the clouds today, so no swimming. After exploring the village and quick walk on the beach we headed to the local town where I ended up spending far more than I'd planned to., but it was all stuff I needed.

Sorry, Roger, this is one for MM. My powers are limited to moderating/editing posts. Other than checking that Hobie has cleared cookies and site data, I'm not sure what to suggest.

That reminds of a joke I saw recently: My son was just born and another dad at the hospital congratulated me and said his daughter was born yesterday… said maybe they'll marry each other. Sure, like my son is going to marry someone twice his age...

It was a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. If you check out my Other Vehicles of Hazzard fanart thread, you'll see my comments about them using two different cars and how they were probably the same ones that played Petey Willis's race car in 'Welcome Back, Bo 'n' Luke'.
