  1. Ahh.. For once, I recevied nothing Dukes related this year. But, I got something just as great in my opinion: Harry Potter! Anyways, I'm glad you all recevied what you wanted, Dukes and non Dukes related that is. Sadly, I didn't even watch the Dukes Christmas episode this year like I normally do, I suppose I just didn't have the Christmas spirit. (Hence why I didn't get anything Dukes either.) But Roger is right, we musn't forget the reason for the season...tis better to give than receive.
  2. Bah, no thinking it over, it's a definite yes, Im off to the Army eventually LOL.

  3. PT stands for Physical Training....I have to wait until I turn 18 years of age to go into the Army, which is next August lol Woo!

  4. All is good here. Ive mostly been in PT...ugh...I hate it lol. They should never make a fat kid exercise. But, it's for a good cause, heading into the Army and all. I'm pretty excited about it to be honest, especially if they deploy me over seas. Don't really understand why I'm excited, but I am. Only have about 6-7 months til i graduate so, am excited about that too. Hope all is well with you.

  5. Well...I know what I said previously but now... I HAVE to lose weight. There's no ifs ands or buts about it...I was told to lose it, so, yeah. I could give advice but it'd be like PT from the Army LOL.
  6. Well, to update this a little... I'm not going into the Marines... I go to the Army Recruiter's office tomorrow so he can help me fill out my package. Im so nervous. I had to retake my ASVAB test since my junior year. I scored a 28-29 on it. My recruiter told me that where the score for the Army was a 31 I was too da**ed close not to try again, so...I did and, as my recruiter says, at this point, unofficially, I received a 36! So, my future is definitely in the Army.
  7. The fact that I thought it was Arabian at first glance was the size of the head. Arabians usually have small dispositions since they originated from the Middle East. An Arabian is built for endurance, hence small head, elogant neck, small hooves...etc. The build of copper matches that of an American Quarter horse, hence why I'm sticking with that answer lol. You're quite welcome. Horses is my forte, so I normally know what I'm talking about there lol.
  8. Definitely sticking with my American Quarter Horse answer.
  9. Looks to me to be an american quater horse. At first glance when I saw the small head, I thought Arabian. But I do believe it is an American quater horse.
  10. Sure, go ahead and post the pic of him.
  11. There is a way. You can tell by the height of the horse, it's disposition, and sometimes its coat.
  12. Dukesfan, I can honestly understand your pain now. Losing a horse, is like losing half of who you are. I lost my miniature pony on the 14th of this month and I'm still balling my eyes out over it. I didn't think it would be this hard, though I knew it would be difficult. The saddest thing was, I had to find out at school...and by the time I got home, they had him buried. We saved his halter. He died of old age, I grew up with that horse ever since I had been knee high to a grasshopper. It was really hard on me. We were thinking of selling Trigger, my rocky mountain, since he's getting up in the ages too, but I just can't go through with it, if I sell Trigger, then I'm done for.
  13. Hehehe...you know something, I learned that by using your brain you can burn calories. I eat a lot of sweets. I mean, who doesn't? I have one of the biggest sweet tooths you've ever seen (or saw...which ever, can't really remember what tense the words are in anymore...some author eh?) Anyways... I'm not trying to lose weight. I'm happy just being me. While losing weight is good and it helps raise the self esteem and your out look on your own appearance, It's just another thing to be all stereotypical about. Fact is, in the harsh reality...no one will ever be the perfect size...you're either too skinny or too fat to put it bluntly. While losing weight does sound like a genius idea I need to take into consideration, I'm happy with the size I am, I can't change it no matter what I do because weight is also in your genetics. Moral of the story is...you are you, and it doesn't matter what's on the outside...it's whats on the inside that's most important. You can never have too big a heart!
