wow i learned something today and i was thinkin bout it. . . .
Alright here, I haven't been on here in a while and this post got my brain to working. The cogs are starting to turn....little by little. A man weighing too much?? Causing a plane to crash?? I don't think so. Someone liked to tell fat jokes apparently. I don't think it's possible for a human to flip a what? 2 or 3 ton machine? (Just estimating the weight there) Then again it does depend on the size of the plane....if it was one of those puddle jumpers then it might have happened. I still don't see it though. Makes me almost afraid to fly...if I stepped on a plane...it would crash...it wouldn't even be able to take off!!! Anyways, I'm gonna go with what Jessi said, the weather. It seems to be more reasonable. Our history teachers are alike lol. Sorta. When we studied on the corrupting political system and Boss Tweed and his ring, my teacher always made the comparison to Dukes. And of course....my teacher and I would sit for the entire period and discuss Dukes. Hey...it got us out of doing work didn't it?

The Fine Arts
It's taken me long enough to get around to making a thread like this. LOL. Anyone on here love to sing as much as I do? I've been in Honor's Choir and all county choir for about 4 years now, anyone else in a fine arts group like this? Maybe you're in to drama or are more the artistic type.Maybe you even play an instrument of some sort. Why do you have a passion for a talent in the fine arts? Who got you started? Did you struggle along the way? Do you direct a choir/band? Or maybe even directed a play. (please for those who are in drama...correct me if I give misleading information, I'm not that familiar with the drama department.) I sing for two reasons alone. 1. My grandmother. I sing in her memory. I miss her dearly. 2. I sing because it's just a passion I discovered when I was very young. So what about you guys?

The Official Photo Caption Thread
If I drop the comic book...I won't be able to find out what happens to bugs in the end. But...if I don't try to atleast make an effort at protecting the bags of money...I'll lose my job. Think Enos Think! (not as good as some of the others on here I've seen or not even sure if I'm doing it right since I'm new to this lol but figured I'd give it a shot anyways)

Mistakes (Bloopers)/Things I've Noticed About The Show

Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning - MySpace Vids and Pics
Well said, Mr. Best. As much as I like Burt Reynolds...I just couldn't picture a skinny boss hogg. Even Rosco's character, when he always trash talked the general lee, the original at least complimented the car by saying its the fastest or something to that effect. I would more than likely say Denver Pyle was rolling over in his grave at the sight of the patriarch of the Duke household smoking weed and making such foul and vulgar jokes. In my personal opinion, this movie was a joke. It was aimed at the teenage generation and for my part...and most others on here...it was a horrible failure. To put it simple. The original was unique and one of the greatest shows any parent could hope to let their kids watch. At least I know, when Im older and I have a child...thats what It'll be watching. I have learned alot from the Dukes, have been taught lessons by the Dukes..and I believe the teenage generation now needs a good dose of the original Dukes of Hazzard. I know I got into a huge debate at school over this ignorant poorly written excuse they call a movie. Needless to say I won that debate too.

Yes I did know. But that doesn't stop a fan from creating a thread to pay their respects to him now does it?

The official 2009 post your destop topic.
you hit the button post reply that appears at the main top of the last post made in the thread. then once you've hit that button and it pulls up the "Advanced post" page, there's a button that has mountains and a sun in it...its small and yellowish and blackish looking, it says insert image...hit it to insert your image....though ill warn you you must have a photobucket account or something along those lines.

Yes, I'm aware that it's a day late. But, better late than never. Figured since there wasn't a thread like this, I'd make one for him. You can come here and pay your respects to the greatest balladeer we all know and love, Waylon. edit: Just saw the tribute thread and now i feel stupid guys lol. Oh well serves me right i suppose.

songwriting anyone?
I myself have wrote a couple of songs in my young writing career lol. Take note that I say a couple, writing a song for me is a lot harder than writing a normal piece of fiction or a free written poetry. (or free verse...cant remember the correct name for it.)
