  1. I like the yellow one from the Georgia episodes. It has the most grease on it. I also like the ones with Georgia themes, Falcons, Braves and Special Olympics.
  2. Me too. Hopefully Spike's dad will find a road to recovery. Looks like another warm sunny day. I have more yard work, wood splitting and dirt biking ahead of me.
  3. They still have air left so hopefully this will have a happy ending.
  4. Sorry to hear that Spike. That is especially tough since today was Father's Day. Do you think medication is affecting him? Some of that stuff can have side effects that mess with your personality.
  5. Every Duke fan knows about Bo blowing up the outhouse and destroying all Luke's car magazines but here is a scene I was just reminded of, when watching The Return of the Mean Green Machine from season 5. Miz Tisdale was delivering the mail in her dirt bike/sidecar when she came across Enos, who was stranded because mean green had pushed his car in the ditch. Enos hopped in the side car and they didn't get far before Boss and Rosco flagged them down and took the motorcycle. They needed it because Rosco destroyed his sheriff's car with a bazooka. Rosco drove the motorcycle and Boss was in the sidecar firing the bazooka at mean green but had a terrible aim and hit an outhouse. They went back 4 years and used the same footage from Georgia!
  6. Happy Birthday today Emma. Hopefully Jesse will give you a little kiss and maybe even some flowers. I've been going through Emma's 12 episodes (13 if you count Close Call for Daisy where she was mentioned but not seen in season 6). She made her debut in season 3 "Enos Strate to the Top" as postmistress but was working at the Hazzard Gazzette in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". I thought her dirt bike made a debut in season 4 Double Dukes but forgot it was season 3 in "The Hack of Hazzard" where the Dukes took over the cab company and post office. At the beginning she road a wheelie on the way to visit her mother.
  7. I don't ever remember seeing this thread. Thanks to DukesFan16 for reviving it!.....and welcome to the HazzardNet DF16. We hope to hear more from you. Is Cooter your favorite character?
  8. Rufus Z Coltrane (I'm absolutely positive the word Vietnam was never mentioned. I don't think any war was specifically. When Boss was dedicating a memorial in "Follow That Still" he and Luke weren't specific. And as we mentioned, the V-word wasn't mentioned in "The Great Hazzard Hijack". The only other one I can think of is "One Armed Bandits" where Boss said he was in 2 wars (contradicted in Follow That Still). Those wars would have been WW2 and Korea. I'm surprised the writers never made Jesse a WW2 vet.)
  9. Boss hates bank eXaminers. (you are right Hobie. It had to have been Vietnam. It officially ended in 1975 but America had been out of it before that)
  10. Looking good. As always, thanks for keeping us updated. Great progress!
  11. Yep. RogerDuke saddled up his dirt bike and he rode into the city. He made a lot of noise because Miz Tisdale is so pretty.
  12. clear
  13. Luke is a VIETNAM VETERAN
  14. We'll hold down the ship in your absence. I'll be the Skipper while you are gone. Hey Hobie, drop that bottle and hoist that mainsail right this instant or it's walk the plank for you.
  15. create
  16. Tomorrow is Waylon's birthday. His real name is Wayland but around here we just call him the greatest singer/narrator to ever walk the face of the earth.
  17. Thanks Hoss. He was pretty disappointed when he found out that Daisy's daddy was the sheriff! That girl can sure shuck and jive.
  18. light (travels at 186,000 miles a second....that's like going around the Earth 7 times in one second.....faster than the General)
  19. I was watching Road Pirates today. I thought the first truck driver who Daisy stopped with her legs looked familiar. He was the strong looking guy who laid down beside her and crawled under her car to secure the muffler. They showed his name in the credits and it is Salt Walther. He lived from 1947 to 2012 and drove different classes of race cars. In 1973 he was involved in a horrific crash at the Indianapolis 500. I watched it on You Tube. It was nasty....so nasty in fact that it changed rules that made the Indy 500 more safe. My memory isn't that great but it seems like maybe we've talked about him before here on the HN. Maybe Hoss can post a video of the crash.
  20. It will be fixed right after the commercial break.

  23. Good grief Hobie. You been into your finest again? They just had a good strong wind at their back. Next thing you know you will say that Miz Tisdale had a stuntwomen and didn't really ride wheelies on a post office dirt bike. Are you looking for a fight tonight? I'm your man if you start messing with my Emma. Put up your Dukes.....of Hazzard.
