Happy birthday Uncle Jesse (May 11) You'll always be my hero. While I'm on the subject of my hero it seems as if I've been giving him credit for something he didn't deserve. I always said that he should be credited for inventing ethanol in 1979 on "High Octane" but my wife just saw an episode of the Waltons where Jim-Bob and a moonshiner named Yancy invented it. Yancy said "It's better to have drunk cars than drunk drivers." The episode was called "The Beau" and it was from 1978.

Wow Brian, this quote is brilliant.....very inspirational! I'm not the type of person to give up easy. After over 6100 posts here on the HazzardNet I'm still trying to write one that makes sense. It might take a few more years of trying but I can just imagine how good it's going to feel when it happens!

I think it was Cooter but Hoss doesn't usually list the correct answer as the last choice. I'll say Cooter anyway. That reminds me of a quote from a poem by the famous Sir RogerDuke... Oh what a tangled website he weaves, when Hoss's trivia tries to deceive. (I have a patent on that quote so if anybody wants to repeat it you'll have to pay me. I thought that orphanage looked like Boss's house so I'm not surprised. I am surprised to see that the haunted house was in town. They did a great job of making it look like it was in the country. Thanks Hoss!

Go for it MaryAnne. Oh, I have another guess but I can't think of which episode it was. Hmmm, she had two big bad guys and said "We gonna catch us a Hogg!" One of those guys played in the NFL. I always want to call her Morgan Fairchild but that's not it. Hmmmm, she was on "Dallas" too if she's the one I'm thinking of. -
Usually they move east to west OR west to east but not always. The biggest giveaway is if they're blinking or not. A satellite shines from reflected sunlight so never blinks. It's light will go out if it passes into the Earth's shadow. Reflected sunlight is white so if there's any color to it, it's not a satellite.....although the ISS turns temporarily orange as it's entering Earth's shadow.

Well said waikiki. My hometown of Albion PA was destroyed by a tornado on May 31, 1985. I knew several of the people killed. The damage was something that you just can't put into words.
