Nice to hear from you again Andrew. The best thing about Strange Visitor is that you can watch it with little kids and it might get them interested in Dukes. That gives it an advantage that the Georgia episodes don't have. As bad as it was it's still better than 99% of the shows on TV in 2017.

The day wore on. Jesse had packed everything he needed for his trip. Being alone often put him in a thoughtful mood. He sat on the steps throwing crushed corn to the chickens who were scattering around his feet. He gently brushed a big rooster aside with his work boot. "Now you behave yourself Rodney. Stop being such a bully and share with the hens." The patriarch sighed and spoke softly to himself. "I reckon I'm a gittin' too old fer stuff like this but when an old ridge runnin' friend from 50 years ago might be in trouble I ain't got much choice. I just gotta go. I just can't figure out how I'm gonna explain it to these kids. I did keep my word to him that I'd never say what was going on." Then the old timer's face lit up. "Ha! I got an idea. I reckon I'll need more pencil and paper." He got up, went inside wrote a note, sealed it tight in a secure envelope and set in on his dresser in his bedroom and waited for his nephews to come home.

It's not February yet and just like this time last year I deleted my music and am officially cured. It took me a whole month again.

All that really matters is that I beat Garrett in fantasy NASCAR this year. I hope the big wigs who run NASCAR slant the rules to help me out a little bit this year since I had a rough 2016.

I was watching "The Canterbury Crock" last night and there was a scene where Daisy wasn't answering the CB......... "probably because she had that Waylon tape in." Yep, I sure missed him when I heard that.

I guess it won't be Steelers vs Packers like I predicted. Didn't COOTER have a Falcons hat on in an episode early in the series? I sure hope the Falcons can win in two weeks. I disagree Hobie.The Falcons offense can be pretty explosive. I think they'll win.

Just got done watching it again. It was interesting going through these old posts. I never cried when Enos was emerging from the pond crying but I think this is the first time I didn't cry while Rosco was telling Jesse, Daisy and Cooter the boys were dead. Seeing old Jesse with tears streaming down both his cheeks is tough though.

LOL That's funny. Winning the Super Bowl would be a bigger miracle than the Cubs winning the World Series......Garrett's the only person I know who thinks the Lottery can be won without a ticket....ya gotta admire that kind optimism.

Great to see you back in Hazzard County Garrett. Maybe we can get more NASCAR race reviews from you this year. Since you're pretty busy they don't have to be as long as before. A quick paragraph or two is better than nothing. Daytona will be here before you know it Garrett. I'm now a Chase Elliott fan.
