Great to see you back in Hazzard County Garrett. Maybe we can get more NASCAR race reviews from you this year. Since you're pretty busy they don't have to be as long as before. A quick paragraph or two is better than nothing.
Daytona will be here before you know it Garrett. I'm now a Chase Elliott fan.
That Packers-Falcons game should be pretty high scoring. Neither team is famous for their defense. If you add all the points up the Falcons scored in 16 regular season games it was the eighth most in NFL history.
Woops, you're obviously way better than me at this game so I'd better quit while I'm ahead (I'm not really ahead I just like to think I am) At this point I'll be lucky to just to keep my tail out of the HazzardNet jail.
Now we're down to Steelers vs Patriots and Packers vs Falcons so my prediction is still possible. If the Steelers don't win I like the Falcons too since Atlanta is the closest big city to Hazzard County.
I don't even wait until Dec 26 to get the blues. I start getting them the evening of Dec 25 since I know it's almost over. I'm still playing Christmas music a little bit even now in mid Jan but I'm sure when Feb 1 comes around I'll have it out of my system.
Normally it doesn't bother me that I'm not a fan of technology and know little about it (In fact, I still don't even own a cell phone) but when I'm not able to contribute with input that might help in a situation like this I suppose I'm a little disappointed in myself. Oh well, at least I know the decisions are in good hands here.
Don't worry Susan. The Supreme Superior Commander hasn't thrown anybody in the pokey for quite awhile. I think the last time it happened is when I got thrown in for disorderly conduct for mentioning nobody's been thrown in lately.....shucks....did I just do it again?
Miz Tisdale continued.
"I probably shouldn't say this since it's against regulations and all but I just love your uncle so much maybe I can help out a little. Every year now, right about this time your uncle gets an envelope about an inch thick. I don't know what it is but the return address is a feller I ain't never heard of from Capitol City. This year that delivery is about a week late. Poor old Jesse is just worried sick about it. Now he doesn't realize that I remember he gets that mysterious delivery on an annual basis but I got a memory like a steel trap when it comes to anything that has anything to do with that handsome hunk of an uncle of yours. So if you know what that yearly delivery could be you might know what it is that's been getting him down."
Daisy thought for a moment but had no clue what it could be. She shook her head no in disappointment.
Our local movie theater is going to rerun some of the classics on the big screen. Smokey and the Bandit is one of them....in fact it's the only one I cared about on the list.
There's still 8 teams left. Any predictions for the Super Bowl before we're down to 4 teams at the end of the day Sunday?
I say Steelers over Packers....I'll bet a certain Seahawk fan will disagree.
I don't think it would be used that much but if it is free and easy for you to do it might be nice on occasion. Don't go to a lot of trouble on my account though.
Shucks. I guess I only know how to send a PM on a computer and not a tablet. Can this and the last one be deleted? In case you folks were wondering I was just giving Susan instructions on the Role Play.
Jesse sat in the barn for awhile thankful Daisy hadn't followed him to pry information from him. He has a lot of thinking to do. Should he make the trip tomorrow or tell the kids what was going on and how many people it could hurt. He made a promise to an old friend to keep this a secret. Breaking a promise was something he didn't want to do. On the other hand if he had to go looking for his old friend that wouldn't be easy either. In the end he determined he had to keep his word and make the dangerous trip tomorrow to see if his old friend was okay and if so, ask why he didn't send the envelope. He took a pencil and paper out of his overalls pocket and started a list of what he'd need for the trip.
