  1. I am currently 37 and I have been a DOH Fan and John Schneider fan since 1979 when I was 10 years old. My room was covered in all the pull out posters from Tiger Beat, 16, and the rest of those teeny-bobber magazines. Any picture of John, and the rest of the Duke cast, that I could get my hands on, was on my walls. I even had a scrap book that I pasted the articles from those magaizines into. Boy I wish I had that scrap book now. I am an original fan, a 27 year fan.
  2. Do you know which episode that is? I really want to see that scene now!
  3. Isn't a script person responisble for making sure that the shows are "in Synch" with each other and that there are no continuity problems? Did they not have such a person on DOH? Any way I love my boys, and they have grown up to even more handsom then they were way back then, if that is even possible.
  4. I have the two reunion movies on my dvr. If anyone is interested in my copying them to tape just send me a message. All I ask is for money for a tape and to send it out to you.
  5. were did you see a picture of the season six cover? I want to see this black flag!
  6. Oh you lucky dog you! You have to give us all the details after you see him! Oh you have to bring your General Lee! Are there many GL's in Austraila? Have fun! Btw what does John have to do with comics??????
  7. 6 I have a little tiny graphite mark in my shoulder from where I stabbed myself with a really sharp pencil 7 There's a dead antelope watching me 8That random enough for ya?! I have a graphite mark on my calf from elementary school. I happened to have a pencil hanging out of my calf one day. I never knew how it got there. and I have to ask, why is there a dead antelope watching you?
  8. OK I really need to see this cartoon again. I can wrap my brain around Flash talking, kinda like Scooby Doo, but I really can't wrap my brain around General Lee talking. I just can't see him talking to Bo and Luke like KITT talked to Michael. What did the General say? "Bo you need to put more ballest in my trunk for those jumps?" or "Rosco doesn't know this short cut of yours so we should be able to loose him"
  9. Whoops posted the reply for this email under the knight rider theme! sigh... I too am too tired. I really need to see Hooper again, and get it one day.
  10. No problem Dukefan. I have made my fair share of mistakes. I need to get Hooper one of these days.
  11. James was in that movie???? How did I miss him??? I no longer have it as I had to make room in the DVR.
  12. TimDuke Male, 40-49, Midwest US 1 Posts Wednesday, March 01, 2006 5:56:58 PM For anyone dissing this jump, let me give you some facts. The car was specially built for this jump from donated pieces from 3 different cars. The ultimate care was taken as far as safety devices for the stunt driver. The driver is one of the best stunt drivers in Hollywood who did Dukes back when it was filmed. He purposely asked for no counter ballast in the trunk as he explained to me the front takes the brunt of the impact and less chance of back injury than to land on all 4 tires and no if you don't know about Dukes of Hazzard this jump would mean nothing to you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You tell them Tim. Isn't that jump on one of the season dvd extras?
  13. Where on the site did you read that? I can't seem to find anything about the movie on it. thanks
  14. Please let us know if that show ever comes on again, I really would like to see it. Thanks
  15. ok can anyone name the voice actor that did Rocky's voice from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show? Then we'll have found out who dubbed in Terry Lee's voice. I wonder why they didn't use his own voice. It can't have been any worse than the voice that they used!
  16. Happy birthday to a woman who looks as good today as she did back in the early 80's! Happy 52nd birthday!
  17. I will proberly wait until it comes on Pay per view. I can't afford to go to the movies much. It just gets way to expensive, especially when your paying for four tickets, even if two are kids, plus the snacks and drinks. I sure hope that it is better than some other remakes, such as the Dukes movie. I also wonder, will KITT sound the same? Can they get the same guy to do his voice???
  18. You know you watch to much Dukes when you start having Dukes withdrawls because you didn't watch them for a day! Symptoms of Dukes withdrawl sweatin' gettin' axnious irritibillity the desire to cuff and stuff everyone and everything increased smoking of fat cigars chills nausea etc
  19. Well if counting local news reporters I have met a few from Philly's NBC10. I have met the bow tie wearing weather man Gary "Hurricane" Swartz and John Bolaris who is now a weather man in NYC. My exhusband works for NBC10 which is how I got to meet them. I have also waved to one of the new men during a commercial break while at the station during the news.
  20. ok don't laught at me y'all, but can some ome please tell me what is so great about myspace??? My 14 year old son has one under an assumed age. What is the great fasniation with this place???
  21. I like them both driving, but Bo was the more aggressive driver of the two. In reality, John was the better of the two drivers. Paul Baxley (I know that I misspelled his name, shame on me) said that John was a natural driver. He was allowed to eventually do some of the stunt driving, like driving up to the mirror in "And in This Corner, Luke Duke". Even on Smallville, the stunt coordinators, I belive it was, compliemented John on his driving ability and I also belived, allowed him to do some of his own stunt driving. There was a time, when John was thinking serously about becoming a race driver, but the country music was going really well for him at the time. John is a natural driver. Tom though was the better of the two when it came to the fighting. Tom was also a good driver, just had a more gentle hand with the General than John or Bo did. Besides with Bo driving, Luke got to do all the cool jumping from the General to the chased vehical.
  22. My deep sympathies to the Knot family for their personal loss. Television lost yet another great actor. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew him personally and in the world of television (syndication) where the rest of us knew him. 21 July 1924 - 24 February 2006 age 81 Born Jesse Donald Knotts
  23. Dukesfan man I am feeling old, you were born when I graduated from HS! But that also means that I am old enough to remember the show when it was originally on. My room was covered with John, Tom and Cathy, when I was in 6th grade. I bough every Tiger Beat, etc, mag that had them in it!
  24. Hey Dixie, I hope that you get settled down and things work out. I understand how hard it is to move from one state to another. I joined the Marines as an 18 young girl and was sent from my familar home to 12 weeks of bootcamp at Parris Island SC, which was a complete change. Went from mom to drill instructors yellin' in your face. It was hard, not knowing a soul. Then I moved to NC for 4 weeks of schoolin' and really didn't know anyone. It took some time but I found a freind or two while there. Had my first boyfriend there. Then just as I was settlin' in I was sent to Quantico Va. I was finally settled spending from 87-91. By 91 I was out of the Marines but married to one. Our next move was across country to CA where we lived for 18 months. I was in the same situation as you, a stay at home mom. I didn't even have a car at this point. I ended up making friends with people at my toddlers mommy and me classes. I also started to work at night, when my husband could watch our son. I made friends there too. Then before you knew it, we had orders again and I moved back to my home, while my husband went over seas for a year. You would think being back at home was good, but by then most of my old friends were gone. A year later it was off to NC again where we lived for six years. Again I was a stay at home mom, but I was pregnant with my second child. After six months of living in NC, we moved from one community to another, and that is when I made my best friend. I have been friends with her for 10 years now. I met her when I was moving into my new house and the plumbing wasn't working. We met due to either me or my son having to use the bathroom! Six years later and it was my final out of state move, up to Philly where my now exhusband is from. I made friends with parents at my childrens school and with my neighbors. So what that all boils down to is this. I understand what your going thru and I know how tough it is to make friends. I think that posting on here was a good idea. I hope that some of the local Wisconisn people have privatly emailed you. Good luck in the search for friends, I know that you will succeed.
  25. Wow I really can't answer this question. I like them all. I really like the innocence of Bo and Luke and Daisy in the first season, but I also like the later seasons were they dig into thier past and mess around with thier characters, ie "My Son Bo Hogg" "Dr. Jekle and Mr. Duke" etc.
