  1. There was one episode, can't remember the title right now, where Bo or Luke tell Cletus that there is a nice little place up ahead for them to pull over. Cletus goes, yeah, where, and either Bo or Luke respond, "Hazzard Pond" which made Cletus immediatly stop! LOL Poor Rick, he was such a good sport to keep getting dunked like that. I agree, it was a great running gag. Never got old of it either.
  2. I love how she was so friendly with Daisly
  3. Well lets see if we can't wake this 'ol subjet up again. Here are some of my favorite Daisy quotes From Daisy's Shotgun Wedding Daisy: "I aint n pigtails and braces any more fellas. In fact I never wore braces. From the begining of A Baby For the Dukes Luke singing: "Cowboys aint easy to love, harder to hold" Bo speaking: "That's true" Daisy speaking with a laugh: "How would you know?" I love how she delieverd that line.
  4. My big boy is an outdoor cat. He was the first cat, and I got him from someone who aloud him out doors. The two babies are strictly in door cats, and they seem to look at thier big brother with envy. My one other cat has escaped and I only see brief glances of her. We are all excited when we have a "Pinkie" (her name) sighting. At least at the moment all the fleas outside are dead. Come summer time I will have to start buying that outrageously expensive flea control drops.
  5. Recently it seems that I can't watch Dukes with out a note pad near by to record Hazzard Locations and favorite lines. Even my son and daughter want tme to write down thier favorite lines, or tell of a location to add to the list.
  6. Here are some of my favorite Luke quotes. In Welcome Waylon Jennings when Luke is looking for the transmitter. Bo:"Find anything?" Luke:"About 1,000 gum wrappers and 73 cents in change, and that's mine. From Brotherly Love when Luke regains concesness.(however that word is spelt) Luke: "I had to come back. Couldn't stand to see a grown man cry." From A Baby for the Dukes Jesse: "That's about the size of you and Bo when you got here." Luke: "We were never that small." Bo: "Not me. You know I just can't quite picture you Luke, sitting on the floor sucking your thumb crying away." Luke: "I did not suck my thumb!" From Dear Dairy, after getting a ticket. Luke: "I could paper my room with these things." Luke: "I'll get more gray hair than I've got already." I can't think of any now, but I always love it when he makes fun of Bo.
  7. I know that this was posted awhile ago, but which season, and which extra was this from? I have so far seasons 1-3, and don't remember this conversation.
  8. Oh that was just too good. I agree with you, that thier using the windows was really cool. I mean who else has attempted that level of coolness other than NASCAR drivers? NO ONE, because they all know that they just can't pull it off! In real life your car would be a 1988 Chevey Corsica, and people who see you climbing in and out of your windows don't look at you as if your cool, but the other end of the spectrum. They would pitty you as a poor geek who has broken car doors and just can't afford to get them fixed! Well that's what they would problerly think of me! It was fun to watch Bo and Luke go in the opposite windows for them. They just weren't as smooth. '69 Charger with welded doors = coolness especially if your Bo and Luke
  9. This is a guess only, but I'd guess that an "all day singin'" would be like a gathering to sing hymns and such. And dinner on the ground is probably a picnic. I don't know for sure...but a wild guess. LS3 Thats proberly what it is. thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of it as a picnic. LOL
  10. Hmmm this is a hard question for me to answer. I really liked them both, and I think that they both fitted her. Her car fit her strength. It was a muscle car, and she was a strong person physically and conviction wise. Her strenght of belief. Dixie fit her spirit. I was more of a fun, spunky car. It was bouncy as it went off road. She was a spirited, spunky person. She was always laughing and fun loving. I think that the jeep had more impressive style rescues of Bo and Luke. They could just jump in as it was driving by. Made for quicker and easier enterances and exits. See my problem. So I really can't choose. Color wise though I liked the car better.
  11. I really think that it is great all you youngins liking the show. My oldest son who is 14 makes fun of me sometimes. But I think he likes the show too, just not as actively as I do. (being on this site etc.) I just feel that the show is always fun, and never boring to watch. It was a high quality show even if they didn't always have a large buget.
  12. Here are some more that I like. "Only the Dukes would go to twon to find out why they can't get arrested." "The casino buniness was cooking like an all day singin' with dinner on the ground." Now if I only knew what an all day singin' was, and why is dinner on the ground? Here's one about Duke luck "Man, I'll tell you, the day they passed out good luck, old Bo and Luke must've been fishing" "If it wasn't for bad luck , the Dukes wouldn't have any luck at all."
  13. Thanks Reesie! I try to be, though if you ask my human children (vs my feline children) they may have a different opinon about me being funny! Thankfully with it being winter, the fleas seemed to have died off. So luckly for me and the kitties, no more baths are needed for awhile, at least until they start smelling like port-a-potties. Then I might see if I can just Frebreeze them! Hmmm should we call Frebreeze and sugest that they come up with a pet version, to be actually used on the pets?
  14. I miss my old truck. I gave it away to a friend of a friend after the engine went and I couldn't fix it. He is a Dakota collector, who fixed it, so it was at a good home , until finances made him sell it. (didn't want to but it was the only truck out of his many that the buyer was interested in)
  15. Glad to hear that. I like your avator. I think I might get the game boy Dukes game for my 9 year old daughter. She can also play it on her Game Cube, and since the boys won't let her use thier x-box 360, I can't get her the newer games.
  16. the way that I did it was to go onto yahoo image search and find a picture that I like and fits the size and then I just copied that webpage's address into the box above show gallery. hope this helps and good luck. Just to let you know I am still new at this.
  17. Well over in the TV heading under General Discussion there is a topic that I started called Hazzard County Locations. We are listing all of the road names and locations that we know of. We have a pretty good list going.
  18. On Birds Gotta Fly there was Jensens Cave and Truck Rd this is getting fun. If any one is able to draw this out, they need to show us all how it looks.
  19. I know that I'm a little late on this subject. But my favorite Current shows are Smallville CSI CSI:Miami CSI:NY Mythbusters Dirty Jobs and the British Comedy My Family on BBCAmerica
  20. Ok y'all going to laugh at me, But the Muppet Show! ANIMAL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Well all I need to do is get the weather stripping glued back on and then it won't leak, and as far as the broken drivers side window, the glass is fine, the track is just broken. I have it jammed up, so I'm in no rush to fix it. It gives her personality. Besides all the mechanics here want "cash on the barrel head" sigh....
  22. Yea, it was kinda interesting giving directions to my house. It was also kind of funny when someone saw the little five railroad timber bridge with no sides for the first time. They're like "that thing is gonna hold me?" and I'm like "yea, it held the semi-trucks hauling the trailers over it, it will hold you! I have seen some people just do a 3 point turn and leave, instead of going over the bridge! chickens! What scares me is that we were only barely considered redneck.
  23. You know that you watch to much Dukes when you start a Hazzard County Locations listing in the forum.
