I think that a cd of all the songs played by the acts that appeared on Dukes would be a great cd. What do y'all think?

Have ya'll heard to TV soundtrack?
Iloveschnieder replied to Canadian_Country_Cousin's topic in Music
That was a HARD poll. Both John and Tom have great voices. I chose Tom though over John, ONLY because he is on Broadway. I love "Up on Cripple Creek" and also "Them Good Ole Boys are Bad" It is my daughter's (9) favorite cd. -
I just recorded it off of cmt last night. I didn't get a chance to watch it yet though. It has been years since I last saw it and I don't remember a thing. I am hoping that my boys will get a kick out of it too. I will have to post after I get a chance to watch it between doing homework for my public speaking class.

That was a great little song/poem. I really enjoyed it. Keep 'em coming

I would just be even more POed if Martha started seeing Loinel! Hey does this make Lex the Senator or does Martha do her husbands term??? I also want to know why didn't Clark superspeed John to the hospital. Oh by the way, I was looking at a Superman III case today, and saw that Annete O'Toole was Clarks girlfriend in High School. So would that have made her Lana? I didn't even know until today that she was in Superman III

Man that is soooo cool. Y'all looked like y'all were having a blast! What kind of cars were they? The blue one kinda looks like my little p-o-s! I would do it too if I could!

dukes65 Posted: Fri Jan 27, 2006 3:29 pm Post subject: Its a sad day in Smallville -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know that a lot of Bo fans are upset about John dying of an heart attack but you got to look at it this way. Some of the plots in Smallville was based on the first 2 superman movies. If you have watched the first superman movie you would know that Clark's dad died the same way. My comment on this Clark Kent was Superman already during the movies, and did his dad die during the movies when Clark was an adult? I am not a Superman expert. I have seen the movie only once or twice around the time it came out. All I remember about the first movie was Superman spinning the Earth the opposite direction to go back in time and save Lois. georgiagal1 Posted: Fri Jan 27, 2006 9:16 am Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have certainly quit watching. WHY cant they get rid of Lana?!?!? I was perfectly fine when she died, I know it sounds mean but she all she does is WHINE! I have never seen somebody act like such a baby. Here I have to agree with Gerorgiagal. I am really getting tired of Lana. Poor little orphan girl who can't take Clark for who he is, a private person.

Dukes on the GCN? (GameCube)
Iloveschnieder replied to 426GeneralLee's topic in Games General Discussion
I too would like to know if there are any DOH games for the Game Cube. Also I know that there is a Gameboy game out. Can anyone tell me how it is? My 9 year old daughter has the Game Cube and the adapter on the bottom so she can play Gameboy games on it. -
I have no idea. All I know is that I am sooooo MAD :x at the Smallville writers right now! There is a less important characters to kill off. Sorry Chloe, I love your character, but I love John even more! I just wish that it was Lana. She gets on my nerves. That whole Clark/Lana thing is getting old. go check out the other thread on the TV forum under UGH, if you want to see my imediate reaction. I was really POed last night.

This is from Just John Schnieder webpage http://just-john.net/ Jonathan Dies If you have watched Smallville's Episode Reconing then you know that Jonathan has died. Smallville's writer Al Gough said that show needed to take a risk. It was a hard decision and it took for months before making the final move. But the show must go on and it's a necessity for where the show is heading. I say that the ratings may hit the toilet as all the John fans stop watching!

I was yelling at the tv when John collasped. :x And then when Martha was yelling about it, I was like, "HELLO DON'T JUST YELL DO SOMETHING!!!!" I was thinking about you know, CPR! :x I wonder if Lex realizes that this is all HIS FAULT!
-
ME TOOOOO along with my son. We are POed big time!! :x :x HOW DARE THEY KILL JOHN!!!!!! :x :x MY SON SAID IT WAS BETTER WHEN LANA DIED. Though it was sad! I really thought it was going be Chloe, NOT JOHN!!!!! especially after reading his webpage. HMMM can they bring John back from the dead too? I don't know if I will be watching next week. I am to MAD :x I am too MAD to even rant any more! GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR (angry growl)

Why Do You Love Bo Duke?
Iloveschnieder replied to Canadian_Country_Cousin's topic in John Schneider / Bo Duke
If you've heard of the Children's Miracle Network. John is the co founder so if CMN wasn't founded a lot of people that they helped raise money for so that the money could help buy the equipment to help keep them alive. Little babies born premuturely (myself) that need incubators (not sure if it's spelt right) to stay alive, Ahhh I fully understand now! We have donated to CMN when ever we can. Thanks for sharing, and by the way, great pic of John. -

Great Waylon Lines
Iloveschnieder replied to Iloveschnieder's topic in Waylon Jennings/The Balladeer
Get ready for a LONG list. He had so many great lines. No one could do it like him, not even the Narrator in the new movie! "Man, I'll tell you, the day they passed gout good luck, Old Bo and Luke must've been fishing." From Nothing But the Truth. "Whoa now. I know it looks alful peaseful and it don't look much like Hazzard with noby chaign anybody or nothin'..." From Miss Tri County "In fact if the Dukes quite driving old Cooter would have to go back to the chicken farm." This was said while Bo was stuffing Uncle Jesse into the General Lee. Waylon: "Looks to me they might have to widen that window. From the Law and Jesse Duke "I tell you being an entrepereneur is a heavy responsibility. Learning that word wasnt to easy either." (I loved how he pronounced "entrepereneur") Ok this is from Share and Share Alike and has more than just Waylon's line. It needs to be set up. The General getting chased and banged around by bad guys. Bo: "Well why don't we do like General Grant would do?" Luke: "Whats that?" Bo: "Retreat" Driving in reverse still being chased. Luke: "You sure this is a good idea?" Bo: "Yeah, don't worry about it, don't worry about it. I got a plan." As a truck blocks the road in front/back of the General Lee. Waylon: "Great plan Bo." -
Great Utterances from Rosco P. Coltrane
Iloveschnieder replied to Brian Coltrane's topic in James Best / Rosco P. Coltrane
From Brotherly Love after Rosco and Boss meet Lukes Brother Jud Cane. Rosco: "Those Duke Boys were lying they were. Lying just like a tombstone. Than man was no more Like Dukes brother than I am second cousin to a jackass. Boss: "Well yea he is and you are." While dancing with Boss holding a rose in his mouth. "Your scuffing my fern" From A Baby For the Dukes After Boss rode back with Rosco on the horse. "Oh your little Hoggonomics, are they tender?" From Goodbye General Lee Talking about the General Lee to the hired drivers at the Drag 'N Fly. Rosco: " I'll Tell you one thing, that General Lee's about half-human." Boss: "That's right. And each of them Duke boys was born with a silver gass peddle in his mouth." -

Hazzard County Locations
Iloveschnieder replied to Iloveschnieder's topic in Dukes of Hazzard General Discussion
Oh I thought I had bad news, I thought my Duke pad was a missin" Ok here are locations from my list. Bad Day in Hazzard the radio station Iron Mountain Allen Road and the South Fork. Dear Dairy Old Mill Rd was mentioned again. Sutters Creek, which is off of Old Mill Road. Sycamore Rd and Arrowhead Rd. Goodbye General Lee had only two. Rainbow Caynon. (wonder if Kissin' Cliff is above it.) and the Gravel Pit. -
That is such a great come back. I love it, I love it.

Oh don't I know it. At least right now big boy ain't bringin' in any new ones. The frost here killed them all. In NC we had a huge flea problem all year long. No frost to kill them or make them go dormant what ever, in the winter. The outside fleas I mean.

I love this scene from Goodbye General Lee where Cooter is talking to poor frightened Homer the sign painter on the hood of his tow truck. Cooter: "Hey, what say Homer? Where'd you drop in from? I can't stop just yet, homer, so hang on, will ya? Hey how about movin' it over a little huh? How's ya wife? Homer "WHOA! She's all right." a little bit later when the chase is over and the scene cuts back to Cooter. Homer: "COOTER!" Cooter: "Sorry about that Homer. Hey, hey, look I'll by you a cold one down at the Boars Nest. Ok." I just loved it how Cooter kept talking to poor frightened Homer , like it was nothing unsual for a guy to be holding on for dear life, and he is dragging the bad guys behind him. I love his method of car fishing in that episode!

Poor Cletus, he hardly has any quotes here As Cletus would say "Buzzards on a buzz saw!" I was just watching Goodbye General Lee so the following are from that episode. Cletus chasing the General all surprised like "I'm gaining on them" Then after he catches the General while laughing "Oh I have been dreaming of catching the General Lee ever since I joined the force. This will give me a raise for sure." Then right after Luke mentions for the first time about getting rid of the General Lee. "Buzzards on a buzz saw. Get rid of the General Lee? Why it wouldn't be no fun around Hazzard at all without him"
