My name is from the character on the show ( he was in 2-3 episodes) and he was the town drunk. I got his name because I like to drink but I'm not an alcoholic ( about 3 beers at one time......I know....I'm a hard core bad boy!! LOL! ....also because he's funny. Have you ever seen Hobie Hartkins?

I know it's probably a bit different since instead of mentioning the Dukes it was actually made for the TV movie from 2007 (I know) but the song Duke Boys Swingin' with John Anderson and Cowboy Troy is a really good song. Cowboy Troy's bit actually describes the show perfectly.

Growing up Dale Earndhart, Jr was my favorite. When I played the NASCAR game most recently I played as Danica Patrick for the fact she was a girl but never saw her race. The one I really like to root for now is Frankie Muniz.

For the first time in the race Jesse takes the lead. And the timing couldn't have been better. Emma made it down from Iron Mountain on her back up dirt bike just in time to stop at the intersection to watch the race. And what a sight it was to see her man in the lead on her very own postal dirt bike. She caught the corner of Jesse's eye and distracted him. He looked at her with a big smile and gave her a thumbs up and she blew him a kiss. It was such a distraction that he didn't notice a big rock. He hit it and it threw his bike off to the side and Skipper passed him with the Minnow in tow. Jesse's Yamaha then ran into the dirt where it hit another rock with such force that it catapulted him and the bike into the air and two seconds later, right into the Minnow. Lucky for him and the Yamaha they both landed on the pile of life jackets unharmed but clearly out of the race...... .......or were they? It would be unwise to ever count out crafty and wise Jesse Duke.

Feeling the freedom of no one in view, Garrett allows his car to slow a bit to give the powerful engine a rest a bit while resting back into his leather seat. He finally glances into his rear view mirror and his heart skips a beat as he sees Jesse's vehicle come across the curve and into view. Sitting up in his seat he presses the accelerator down forcefully the car jolts forward with increase speed. "Eat my dirt, Jesse," he says aloud with a confident smile.

I saw that today Hobie. I'm guessing the Cracker Barrel 400 is going to be organized and have a bunch of rules and regulations. No need to worry. That sounds boring compared to the Moonshine 400 so nobody will pay any attention to it. You still have the best race in the world. Now, what place you in anyways?

Hobie takes another sip of shine ( you never waste a sip!) LOL! , and he passes everybody with his specially formulated super charged shine .....everybody except Meadow and Daisy ( He's too busy looking at them.....!! ) and then he sees he's going to have to really get it in gear because Garrett and Roger have just about passed him! ( That's when Hobie realizes he should've paid more attention to those two in the locker room before the race.....they were obviously making plans and conspiring to beat him! )

This case was made up by someone a few years ago. The cars are glued in place and there's a light in there that takes a battery in it so it can light up like a proper display case but I can't always get it to work. The car below was my dad's but he gave it to me when I was a kid after I broke the wheels off mine making it do jumps haha. I do know the bigger car came in the ERTL box that had the flag on the package and a picture of everyone on the backdrop inside.

Little after thought. Always wondered why the sirens on the sheriff's cars were blue with no red. Another reason I liked Road Pirates so much was cause of the scenes where the pull the sirens off the car so I always perplexed about the lack of red.

Not on VHS but I have the complete series on DVD as well as the Reunion movies. I do have some other tapes I watched as a kid still in good shape. The "Re-TV" tape copies of One Armed Bandits and Mary Kaye's Baby on one tape and then Repo Men and High Octane should be on another. Then I have the VHS copy of To Catch A Duke the season 3 episode.

Watch out Garrett Duke. The Skipper too is coming after you. 😂

well my fellow Hazzzardites, I'm watching the one where ....I think his name is Lyle Alzado? A football player from the Oakland Raiders....who he and a hot blonde kidnap Boss and Boss loses his memory. It seems to me there are 2 episodes where Boss loses his memory and turns into a good guy......which ones were they?

While everyone is distracted, Garrett easily passes them all with a sly smile. Staying focused and serious on the race will definitely be on his side. He shakes his head and smiles in disbelief as his competition is literally left in his dirt and getting smaller in his rearview mirror. He can smell and taste victory ahead of him as he knows what's on the line and he will do everything that he can to ensure he protects his win streak.

OK....right now I'm waiting for a Dominos pizza and then I'll watch TDOH tonight, as all REAL fans should! I've got some MBI ( Milwaukee's Best Ice) waiting on me later when I watch TDOH.....not sure as to which one I'll be watching.........what are you guys going to watch/watching today/night on DOHD ???? I'll let you know what I'm watching when the time comes......I just know you guys are waiting with bated breath! LOL!!

Well folks....they finally went and done it! You know how you've got the Charlotte 500, Daytona 500, etc. and I figured that's too long a race for me.....( staying sober that long is a real problem! LOL ) so I made up the Moon Shine 400. NOW.....they're advertising on TV, the Cracker Barrell 400! NOW they're coming for our 400 race! Oh well, they'll never have it as good as we do in Hazzard OR as good as The Moon Shine 400!! I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

My favorite used to be Rusty Wallace because he drove my Favorite car......it was the prettiest design with the Kodiak bear on it! ( here lately, I've been pushing for Denny Hamlin! )

I mentioned Morgan Wallen's "I'm the problem" above. Here's a duet he did with Post Malone that's still getting regular plays on the radio over here. "I Ain't Coming Back" starts with the line "I'm a redneck, 'Cause I drink beer and I dip Skoal", and the chorus starts with a variation of "But the night I said, "I'm leavin'", I turned into Richard Petty". Both kinda remind me of HNet in a good way.

Hobie snaps out of an alcohol induced snooze and sees Uncle Jesse passing him but he is still on Jesse's rear bumper and about to pass him! Hobie has 2 more jugs of shine to drink AND to put into the Moonshine Mauler's tank.......this town drunk means business! ( He's looking around for Garrett.....that guy is sneaky and beat everybody last years....so....!!!)

Anyway, he isn't going to let Garrett's surprise move take him out of it! Hobie puts the heel to the steel and passes everybody....but...he's feeling it and starts coughing....and ....his allergies start acting up. He has just passed Garrett ( he owed the guy one for beating him last year! ) He doesn't know how much longer he can hold on to the lead, now that he's got it. ......
