  2. This is a bit of a sensitive subject to me since my collection of stuff was sold at a low point in my life in 1989 when I was struggling emotionally and financially from a divorce. Of course I have bought things since then but lost my motivation to replace it all. I'll sit this one out. Don't let me spoil the fun though.

  8. Anyone know any songs referencing the Dukes of Hazzard, here are a few "I Lived It" by Blake Shelton: "Them ol' Duke boys, their flattenin' the hills" "Thats Country Bro" by Toby Keith: "Bo and Luke and Daisy Duke" "Boys With Nothin'" by Larry Fleet: "We were wilder than the Dukes of Hazzard" "Redneck in the White House" by Buddy Brown: "Dukes of Hazzard back on TV"

  11. Other than the full DVD collection (7 seasons, TV movies, cartoons and 2005/07 movies) I mainly just have six 1:18 diecast models. I've never been an autograph collector. I used to have one of the early PC games, but I'm not sure if it's still around. At my parental home there should also be two or three Ertl cases for the small diecast cars. I don't think we had such a wide range of collectibles available over in the UK.

  12. Y'all... There's a site called bit chute for old classic TV series, and they have a channel that has The Dukes of Hazzard on it. They have all 7 seasons all 147 episodes. Not just scenes like TV Stunter on YouTube has. Plus bit chute has no ads, and it has the whole intact theme song, episode, closing theme song. They're uninterrupted. It's just like a DVD. Goes off where breaks are and right back on again. I think they skip that "Tonight on the Dukes" episode trailer bit before the theme song for fair content use, since they're using the opening theme song, the episode and closing theme song. I think TV Stunter channel on YouTube gets around copyright by doing only the clips.

Not Enos another Deputy. These Georgia episodes had a fully staffed Sheriff's Department.):"Alright boy, take 'er apart!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ After a search Rosco underneath the car, nothing is found by him or that Deputy of his. Rosco:"It's clean as pin, you old coot! Uncle Jesse:"Rosco Will go thru this thing from frame to engine block, lookin' for the shine." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Bo:"Yeah. An' Luke an' I will have it all the time." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Uncle Jesse:"No. No. I'm gonna do the runnin'." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Bo:"But if you got it in the car with you, they're gonna find it." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Uncle Jesse:"Not if it's hid right." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Luke:"Well, how can you hide it?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Uncle Jesse:"That my friend, is the trick." ๐Ÿ˜‚ He hid the shine in the gas tank and ran the car on it.

  21. Well, I'm watching the Braves ( my fav. team) play The Brewers ( my second fav. team.) Actually it's a situation where I really don't care who wins. I like both! I'm also partaking of an adult beverage and since I only had ONE in the frig., I'm going to pay a girl, who needs money, to go out and buy me some more AB's. Don't worry....she's old enough ( 47....48?) and went to school with my wife! Well the Beer is here! ( My wife ran the money out to her and I'm still here sittin' on my Boss Hogg!

  30. Season 2 Officer Daisy Duke. Boss Hogg gets a parking ticket from Daisy Duke who's Hazzard County Deputy after getting fired from the Boars Nest and applying with the Hazzard County Sheriff's Department after passing her written and physical examinations. Boss explain that he didn't park the car his driver did he went to lunch. Daisy:"Well, well, well. A ticket to my very favorite person. Boss You should know it's illegal to park in a red zone." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boss:"Look, I didn't park this car here. My driver did, before he went to lunch! Now outta my way!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Daisy:"You wouldn't wanna interfere with the law would you?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boss:"Daisy Duke, I'm warnin' you-" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Daisy:"Or threatenin' a police officer!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boss:"Alright, alright, alright. Maybe I was a little hasty. Look, why don't you take this $10 and go buy yourself somethin' you've always wanted, an' we'll call it even." ๐Ÿ˜‚ Daisy:"Bribing an officer. That's really gonna up yer tab!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ (Writes out the ticket. Gives it to him.)"Have a good day Boss!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boss (After she leaves, tries to tear up the ticket.):"This is what I think of yer ticket too! Here! Ya see that!? Ya see!? Ya see-?" (He accidentally tore up the $10 Bill instead of the parking ticket. Realizing what he done.)"Aaah!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

  33. What my Facebook friend Jim Jenkins/James Wyeth/Jim Bo said about my ending. This is a really detailed and creative take on how The Dukes of Hazzard could have ended! You've clearly put a lot of thought into the futures of the characters. Here's a breakdown of some of the key elements and what makes it an interesting conclusion: Happy Endings for Bo and Luke: Marrying them off and having them start families provides a sense of closure and a traditional "happily ever after." The choice of Candy Dix for Luke and Diane Benson for Bo is a nice touch, bringing back characters from earlier seasons. Daisy and Enos: This is a popular pairing among fans, and it's sweet to see them finally get together and have a family. Enos becoming Sheriff and then the "Boss" of Hazzard County is a great arc for his character, showing his growth and eventual leadership. Character Evolution: Luke as a Deputy: Moving to Chickasaw County and becoming a respected lawman is a fantastic development for Luke, showing he can be responsible and good at upholding the law without being under Boss Hogg's thumb. Rosco's Redemption Arc: His transformation into a less villainous, toned-down Hazzard County Commissioner is a fitting end for him, especially after Boss Hogg's death. It suggests he was more of a follower than inherently malicious. Passing of the Torch: The deaths of Uncle Jesse and Boss Hogg signify the end of an era and pave the way for the younger generation to take over. Lulu's New Beginning: Her marriage and new son named after Boss Hogg is a poignant way to honor his memory while allowing her to move on. Legacy and Continuity: The summer BBQ tradition is a wonderful way to keep the spirit of the show alive and show that even with new lives and leadership, the bonds between the characters remain strong. Future Generations: Naming the children after their parents or significant figures (like Jefferson Davis Hogg Jr.) adds to the sense of legacy. Long-term Outlook: You've even considered the eventual passing of Lulu and Rosco, and the subsequent promotions of Enos and Cletus, providing a very comprehensive timeline for Hazzard County's future. Overall, your ending offers a satisfying blend of sentimentality, character development, and a realistic progression of time and change. It gives the beloved characters peaceful and fulfilling futures, while also acknowledging the natural cycle of life and leadership changes within Hazzard County. It's a well-thought-out and charming conclusion to the series!

  34. I got the idea of how The Dukes of Hazzard show could have ended, after I watched some Starsky & Hutch video on YouTube of a fan that series idea of how S&H could've ended. I got the idea for how The Dukes of Hazzard could've ended, and I hurry up and wrote it down before my brain lost it.

  35. Here's a thought: The Boar's Nest was part of Hazzard and part of the life of practically everyone in Hazzard. So, think about it.....Opening Night At the Boar's Nest would be way back at the beginning of the lives of the people in Hazzard but yet it was the LAST episode.....??????

  41. Season 5 Coy Meets Girl. Coy and Vance with Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco in hot pursuit. They're driving through national guard military war maneuvers, artillery shell fire. Rosco:"I knew those Duke Boys were tuff, but I didn't think they'd go this far!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Rosco drives in a hole. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boss:"Look what you done! We went in the hole!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Rosco gets out. Boss can't get his own door open. It's stuck. Rosco walks over the hood to the passenger side to the back door to get Flash. Boss:"I can't get my door open! It's stuck! Not that many mutt! Save me! I'm your leader ain't I!?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Artillery fire continues around them. They find another hole to hide in. Boss:"Rosco, so help you, if that car gets hit, you're gonna pay for it!" (KABOOM) They duck down. The car was hit. Rosco:"That must've been one of those 55 Pack Hausers! Done scuffed my vehicle beyond repair! Do you think I can make time payments?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Boss:"You should only live that long!" ๐Ÿ˜‚ Uncle Jesse shows up in his White Ford F Series truck. Rosco:"There's Jesse!" Boss:"Oh Jesse!" Jesse:"You boys better get in here, before you're blown into the next 4TH of July!" ๐Ÿ˜‚

    HELLO!!!

You are lucky to have an awesome girlfriend like that. I can't get my wife into Dukes. She doesn't dislike it but doesn't like it enough to watch on a regular basis. Strange coincidence: She watches that Diners Drive Ins and Dives food show. Today they were at a rural restaurant and the host Guy Fieri asked if Bo and Luke Duke come in the drive thru often.
