I’m over a month late to this but I just made my second visit to cooters in Luray on May 1st. I was passing through anyway so it was a perfect stop to eat and rest. It was my first time trying the restaurant but it was amazing. Unfortunately all the events were happening at the Nashville location but it’s always an awesome visit. I’m exhausted as well we did 3,000 miles.

Jesse is really excited about this race. He has never been one to embrace technology but is making an exception. After Rosco caught Elon Musk in the celebrity speed trap, Jesse and the boys broke him out of jail and in order to return the favor, Elon agreed to fix up Emma's dirt bike and convert it into a technologically superior racing machine that is only programmed to dominate races. It simply cannot lose. Unlucky for Emma though she broke her collar bone jumping a 60 foot wide creek two days earlier so asked Jesse to take her place. Filled with confidence that technology and AI simply cannot fail, Jesse was already daydreaming about that kiss Emma was going to give him in the winners circle.

I have an astronomy club meeting Saturday evening but you can start without me at 7:00 central time. I'll catch up later that night. It doesn't really matter anyways because with the technologically superior Muskcycle Jesse couldn't lose if he tried so we all know who is winning this. Besides, the race might only be one Hazzzard evening but we always stretch it out to a few evenings in HazzardNet time.

Watching out for it should be pretty easy. It will be the only competitor pulling a yacht. It's pretty hard to miss something like that. You don't see it every day.

Don't put Jesse's name on it. After he wins this race he is signing a big contract with Elon. Technology Is superior. The old ways are done. You will see what I mean when I rocket off the starting gate with the Muskcycle.

If neither of us finish first no hats change hands. Bet or no bet? I have the best technology the world has ever seen attached to the Muskcycle so don't say you weren't warned. Technology cannot fail. It is superior to humans as you folks will find out during and after this race.

I just added a new type of fuel to my Moonshine Mauler! It's mostly made of shine and it makes a car go twice as fast! I'm going to try to market it as Uncle Jesse's Gas Treatment!

None of the likenesses are great in that game, but that deputy looks more like Burt Reynolds and doesn't sound like Cletus.

Well I know Daisy will kiss me at the end and ride around the track with me on my victory lap1 I was hoping Garrett would be coming by for the start of the race but if he doesn't show until later, it's up to him, to make up the distance! I guess we can start it tomorrow! Make sure everyone knows on the CB.....broadcast it! We'll start out at the Boar's Nest, as usual and then circle the track ( about a mile around) and see who ends up at the Finish first! ( At the Boar's Nest of course!) It's only a 400 lap and not a 500 lap race.....I'm not sure certain people can keep sober for 500 laps! LOL!!

Sweet! I'm definitely going back. Hopefully one of the big events will be a weekend I have nothing else going on.

While I was reading Roger's birthday wishes to Denver earlier, I realized that we'd missed the 100th birthday of Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln Hogg last month!

you got that right! Me and the Moonshine Mauler mean business!! We're gonna mop up the road with you guys and then party on Hobie's shine after, at the Boar's Nest!

Hobie already got a kiss from her as he took off from the starting line! ( That's in case his kiss with Daisy doesn't happen! ) I gave her a Moonshine Kiss......she likes my Moon recipe, says I make THE best shine! NOW!! A little more prep on my machine and on with the race! Maybe I shouldn't have given Emma a Moonshine kiss.....1. NOW I'll need to concentrate on winning the race and... 2. watching my back for Cousin Roger's Revenge ........Cousin Roger's Revenge.....sounds like one of those Sat. evening shows down at the movies!! 3. Emma might like my shine so much she becomes an alcoholic!

Maybe his win will bring you luck in the Moonshine 400. There is a lot of pressure on the returning champion.

I missed it...but my Chase Elliott did win it and I was and still am excited about it. He's a great road racer so I am hoping he'll go for two in a row!

Jesse is here sitting on the dirt bike and his only job is to put the kick stand up when the race starts. Everything is going to be done remotely by Elon in his office and by Emma who is looking down from the peak of Iron Mountain. This is going to be an easy win for Team Tisdale. The bike has been programed by the biggest tech genius in the history of the world and it's only command is to win the race at all costs. Emma's role is actually pretty minimal. She is really only going to be there to make minor adjustments and take the remote controls as a back up if something goes wrong.....but that is not likely to happen because technology is superior to humans and nothing can possibly go wrong. The race is in the bag. Jesse can sit back, relax and let the Elon Muskcycle do all the work. High tech is gonna shine in the Moonshine 400. You people who are stupid enough to not believe in technology are gonna learn how superior it is.

Well....I'm here at the starting line and I'm gunning my Mauler's engine, to warm up! I'm about to take off and I'm waiting on everybody to show up! I'd hate to win by forfeit! LOL! It looks like I may not have to worry about Garrett beating me this year......don't know about the rest of you! I got Daisy and Emma on my side! LOL! ( Roger doesn't even know....or have a clue! )

Here's a short video with Stephen Fry explaining what he thinks are the differences British and American comedy. They're certainly very different, but both can be very funny. Watching the "Americans React" videos has shown me how few British comedies most American have seen and how it takes a while to get used to the different tone before they get into them and appreciate them. I hope I'm encouraging some of you to look at shows from outside the US.

HEY!! Somebody needs to holler at Garrett and tell him the race is going to be in about 24-26 hrs....!! That's why I'm working myself to death getting my Manifolds re-worked and my over head cams cleaned!! I might let you guys know more about my special fuel additive later on.....when it's too late to do anything about it! Ha! Ha!! I'm putting in new plugs and air filter and even a new oil filter!!!

You've never really seen me drive, when I'm lit ,hot shot! Once Emma sees me feeding you my dust, she'll be all over me!! ( actually I'm hoping to catch Daisy's attention!! Sorry, I'm a little late with my Miami Grand Prix summary, but the result changed slightly after the race, so it worked out in the end. As before this season, Kimi Antonelli didn't get the best start, and was passed by Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, although Max almost immediately had a spin which lost him several places. In the opening laps, Kimi briefly retook the lead before Charles got it back, and then Lando Norris took second from Kimi. As that was happening, Isack Hadjar hit the barrier and Pierre Gasly flipped over before landing the right way up. Both drivers were fine, but it brought out the safety car. When the pit stops came around, Charles had a slow stop which slipped him back a little. By about the mid-race point, Kimi got past Lando and Max (who'd pitted earlier). In almost a mirror of Max's first lap, Charles had a spin on the last lap and lost a couple of places. At the checkered flag it was Kimi in the Mercedes in first for his third win in a row. Behind him were the McLarens of Lando and Oscar Piastri ahead of the other Mercedes of George Russell. Max fought back to fifth, and the video linked below shows Charles ending up in sixth, but a post-race penalty dropped him to eighth behind Lewis Hamilton and Franco Colapinto. The race highlights are here. There's now a 3-week gap until the Canadian Grand Prix from the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in Montreal.

OK, I've practiced, tuned up the Moonshine Mauler and added Uncle Jesse's special shine and put some of my own " Back 40 Hooch " in the cab of the truck, just in case I need it! NOW.......when does this thing get started? I think it should be this coming Saturday about 7pm central time.....what do you guys think?

I forgot to tell you it was a good Saturday for my favorite racer named Chase too. Chase Sexton of Team Green Kawasaki won the last Supercross (inside footall stadiums) race of the season. They now move on to motocross (outdoors).

Happy birthday to my hero Uncle Jesse! You have been a great mentor for everybody around you and it has been a pleasure to look up to you all these decades. But now it's time to step up to the plate and show everybody that you are still a young man in his prime. Go out there and win that Moonshine 400 against all those young whipersnappers that are still wet behind the ears and get that kiss from Emma in the winners circle. We'll meet at the Boar's Nest later to celebrate!

Garrett shakes his head behind the wheel as he hears of everyone's plans and bragging. He had spent all year bettering Spittin' Cobra and while everyone is planning on ways of cheating to win, he knows he will win by his expert mechanical and driving skills. He is happy with everyone's false sense of confidence as he already feels win number two in his steady hands.

This was great! I think Hobie, Cooter and a few other characters ( us! ) in Hazzard need to work on building a highway straight from you ( Hoss) , to us! It was funny when he talked about the "Knobs". You guys have neat ways of expressing things! The highway can even be part of next years Moonshine Run! Do you guys have Moon over there? What's it called?

I don't know if this is allowed or not because it's not known by anybody, but,....... Spiral notebook I write notes from the books I read and I read over the notebooks every day ( so I remember what I read) and right now I'm reading in my purple notebook ( I have ones with green, blue and black covers too)

I plan on giving The Moonshine Mauler an extra .....uh special tune up.....just to make sure you don't rough me up right at the last, like you did last year! LOL! Not only will you need to guard against me but cousin Roger and his unequaled skill, of driving with only one hand......while chugging Buttermilk straight from the carton!! LOL!
