Just got done puppy-sitting for my brother-in-law for a week. That was stressful. It's only 5 months old but is twice as big as our 2 year old dog and they never got along all week. And the puppy had diarrhea all week...and brought ticks in and barked in the middle of the night and chewed stuff up. Talk about high maintenence. I'm so glad he's gone. Despite all that, I'm kinda missing him. He did have a lovable side. I bet he's glad to be home too.

  3. I looked him up (spelled Rosey) and he was 6'5" and 290 lbs. I thought he was closer to 400 lbs but that's still huge. I do remember that he was mad about getting the ticket but I didn't remember that it was his mom's car. I can't remember if he was arrested or not but Rosco would have arrested him for littering.

The practice sessions ended up being a good indicator for the race. It was an easy win for Max Verstappen in his Red Bull, and his team mate, Sergio Perez, came second. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc had been having a good scrap with Perez before his engine failed. The big story of the race was Fernando Alonso, the oldest driver in the field at 41, overtaking the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, and the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz to claim a podium finish in his first race for Aston Martin. We probably shouldn't be surprised - Alonso is a double F1 World Champion, double 24 Hours of Le Mans winner and three-time entrant of the Indianapolis 500. It's now two weeks until the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in Jeddah.

  6. Yes, it was an early Season 1 episode “Moving Violation”...Rosie Greer guest starred as this huge, massive guy who gets out of an old tiny compact car (it was almost clown-like). He is so enraged because he’s getting a ticket (I think it was his mom‘s car supposedly, if I remember right—and she’ll be mad at him) that he begins to literally tear/rip the car apart with his hands...Greer’s guest-appearance is credited as ‘Car Killer’, no-less, lol!!!

  9. Me and a close friend spent the weekend at the late Henry Holmans place in butler GA several years back. He said the first three cars from California were painted hemi orange. The hemi orange and 75 flame red were very similar and the reason they started using the flame red was because they were working on alot of corvettes at the body shop which was H&H body shop and they had alot of the flame red readily available. This came directly from him, he let us make copies of some of the work orders he still had from when they were working on the cars in 1978. I have a picture of me and him and my buddy standing under the infamous Lee 1 deck lid. Whether or not that was the actual Lee 1 deck lid who knows but maybe Travis Bell. But that's a whole different story. Was glad to meet Henry and his wife, such nice folks.

Kids these days I swear...here we are busting a** at work while one of our coworker's called in sick. Turns out he isn't sick at all, he's selling crap on some app called Whatnot or something. One of my other coworkers is live streaming this online sale. Hope the boss sees it too and gives him a good reaming. No wonder this country is in the mess it's in with bums like this.
