Me too. I've pretty much gone all pro dirt bike racing and not paying much attention to NASCAR. I'll flip it over to a race on occasion and Google the standings at times. There is only so much time in the day.

I don't do social media or keep up with celebrity gossip, but I'm surprised that no one has mentioned John Schneider getting re-married last month. As most of you know, John lost his third wife, Alicia Allain, to breast cancer in February 2023. He has now married Dee Dee Sorvino, the widow of 'Goodfellas' actor Paul Sorvino. You can read the LA Times article about their marriage here. I've just looked up Dee Dee's bio on IMDb - her birth name was Denessa Purvis Benkie, so maybe she's related to Rosco! It's hard to believe....Enos will be 90 years old on this day next year. In the meantime, he's still a young man in his 80s for one more year. Happy birthday Enos! Possum on a gumbush!

American F1 driver Logan Sargeant has been dropped by the Williams team and will be replaced by academy driver Franco Colapinto for the remaining nine races of the season. Sargeant joined the team in 2023, but only scored a single point from 36 race starts. A heavy crash in the final practice session for last week's Dutch Grand Prix meant that he couldn't take part in qualifying, and seems to have been the final straw for the team. We'll get a chance to see how Argentine Colapinto does this weekend in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

It reminded me of the police car that got flipped and spun in the chase through the mall in the Blues Brothers. I wonder if Josh Berry broke his watch?

Season 5 Vance's Lady Vance:"Rosco! What's he want now?" Coy:"He probably wants to find out if she's pretty, and if she has a sister!" Vance:"Let's just lose him huh cuz?" Coy:"Alrighty!" Waylon Jennings:"Losin' Rosco is comparatively easy fer Vance an' Coy, compared to what was comin' up."

Did any of y'all notice that every time Rosco crashes his car, and ducks down before losing the roof, although he ducks down out of the way, the top of his Sheriff hat is always cut off? Times that come mine, are Season 3 The Hazzardville Horror crash, Season 5 Vance's Lady crash.

Thank you Hoss. I did hear about that. I don't know why it didn't occur to post about it. HA. I am happy for him.

School XING (sign in the middle of nowhere for Rosco to issue citations....)

The Dukes always WIN up against Boss and Rosco.

Season 5 Lawman of the Year Waylon Jennings:"Now, bein' 5 minutes ahead of a Duke in Hazzard don't mean much. 'Cause they do know the territory." The General Lee makes a jump. Coy & Vance:"Yeehaw!" They land and are now on the bad guy's tail. Waylon Jennings:"See what I mean?" Bad Guy #1:"It's them 2 rubes! Where'd they come from?" Bad Guy #2:"It doesn't make any difference. There's no way they could keep up with a souped up engine like ours." Coy & Vance are still gaining. Bad Guy $2:"You and yo souped up engine, how come they still gainin' on us!?" Bad Guy #1 (Nonchalant.):"Beats me!"

Did anyone else catch the blooper in Season 5 Dukes Strike it Rich? The right side passenger fender of the General Lee is dented up before Rosco, Coy & Vance even started crashing into each other.

no....I think the one I was thinking about was when Boss and Rosco flipped a car while chasing rthe Dukes and they ( The Dukes) kept pushing it to make it spin around and Rosco said somethintg about I didn't' think it would ever stop spinning!! !

Season 4 (Birds Gotta Fly) Rosco flipped the patrol car trying to make a jump off a dirt mound. It lands on the roof and starts spinning. Boss:"Get me out of here!" Rosco:"I will, as soon as everything stops spinnin'!"
