Got an inch of unexpected snow yesterday. After dealing with all the BS and jerks last week the snow sort of got me back in the spirit of the season by covering the trees and grass and making it look all Christmas-ey. It all melted today of course though we could have more tomorrow which will probably melt Wednesday as temps will once again bounce back up to the 50's.

This is one of the episodes my wife enjoys watching. Might have to dig this season out to watch it again.

I don't understand why the writers invented a country called Urbekistan. If they wanted it to be fictional, why change just one letter of Uzbekistan? Then again, maybe someone misread/mistyped the title and nobody spotted the error.

I was reading the story of Tom's arrest on another news site earlier, and had to laugh when I got to the comments section. One of the commenters had simply replied: "...been in trouble with the law since the day he was born."

Season 2, episode 14, "The Runaway" I just happened to watch that episode last week, so it and Uncle Jesse's "Just a farmer" speech are fresh on my mind. Being a farmer myself, I especially enjoyed his speech. I have heard him talk down about TDOH and I'm thinking....." Dude that's where you got most of what you got!" Besides, those farming people in the small towns were and are the backbone of this nation! ( Remember Uncle Jesse's speech about how the farmer is the backbone of the country without much thanks or money for it? .....it was the one where Daisy got her jeep and helped those two youngsters get married...can't remember .....the name...help somebody ....?)

Very sad. I met him once and he was real nice so I'm glad I didn't experience his ugly side. That wouldn't have been a good memory to have.

Thanks to the engineer who thought the hood latch should have a big rectangular hole I was able to snake the Shopvac's hose in front of the radiator and vacuum most of the crap off the radiator that was blown onto it, told the wife to be safe to take it to the mechanic and have him blow the fins out some time this week. Those bozo's got leaves and dirt all over the engine bay, even on the exhaust manifold's.

Yeah, that did occur to me, but thought I had more pride than to go there....bet the arresting officers thought of that, though....

I agree with you completely Hobie. If you read his interviews, he always seems to look down on his time as a Duke. Wopat even hosted a country tv show on TNN back in the 80's or early 90's. He would have never had the country credibility to do that if it hadn't been for the Dukes. He hasn't done many Dukes related events until recently, he must need the money to support his habit. I've also talked with quite a few fans, including several at Cooter's Last Stand, who said that he was rude while signing autographs. I didn't hear a single negative word about any of the other cast members.

I like Luke Duke but I've seen enough of Tom Wopat to know he is just an A hole! Ever notice when they had the reunions ( behind the scenes), it was John, Cathy etc. but NEVER Tom! He's very arrogant and what gets me, is that if it weren't for the DOH show, where would he be?

Unfortunately, it isn't the first time. I hope he gets the help he needs.
