Always heard the first 3 cars used Summit brand tires, but was unfamiliar with them. Googled them once or twice and came up with nothing. I struck gold tonight! Summit Super Trac is what the GA cars used. Just a new tidbit of trivia for y'all!
You know Roger, you and HossC should get together and write a book. I'm serious, Roger your reviews are insightful and HossC could provide the interesting trivia tidbits.
Seen 3 General Lee's at Walmart yesterday. One on the Dukes of Hazzard dvd set, one on a History if Cars puzzle and the 3rd was a hot wheels car monster truck. Even though the puzzle and HW car didn't have the rebel flag you could tell which tv car inspired them since they were both orange . Interesting even in this chaotic time the 'car that can't be named' likeness is still used to make money.
Also seen at Walmart a new Monopoly game, Jeff Foxworthy edition . Definitely getting that one for game night.
Thanks, Tim! Your help over there was much appreciated. I know you help the fans on that board a lot, and I'm glad you said something here about that sharkk guy. He was being a jerk for his own sport, and I almost shrugged it off...but he was upsetting the kids over there, and that's uncool. Like you, I couldn't let it go unanswered. He deserved opposition, and boy howdy he got it. Thanks again. Give a hollar if there's another brawl ! Brian
Happy Thanksgiving to everybody! Count yer blessings and pass the potatoes! I've just finished eatin' dinner and I can hardly move. No room for pie. *urp!* Brian
I had the weirdest dream....I was standing on this old dirt road and the General pulls up, Luke was driving it *yay* and he asked if I needed a ride. I kept trying to explain that I didn't know where I was, and asked what year it was, he said it was 1981..I kept trying to tell him and Uncle Jesse that I was from the future and everyone thought I was crazy and Rosco threw me in jail
Aw, shucks. LOL. Thanks for the compliment, folks. It's YOU folks that make HazzardNet what it is. We keep up the site for the fans and you fans contribute quite a bit. -MM
DixieRose/Jessi - Shame shame, everybody knows your name!! It's one thing to post yet another "lookit my Dukes site" message. But to more or less copy topic categories from HNet, and then advertise HERE for moderators on top of it .... you've reached the limit of my good nature. I try NOT to be a forum nazi. Far as moderators go, I'm lazy. I don't rile at much, but the fastest way to tick me off is to go "Lookit my Dukes site" when you're basically rebuilding HNet in part or whole, and then looking to siphon off visitors from us on top of it. That's a naughty-naughty. I've confiscated the URL outta yer post, and yer on probation. Brian
