I don't know if this would be the proper place to put this thread or not, so I apologize if it is in the wrong section. I just created a new public group called Hazzard County's NASCAR Group and as the title implies it is about NASCAR. It is a place to talk anything NASCAR from your favorite driver, your favorite race or track, to the upcoming chase, and about past races as well as the upcoming race. Last Night I had heard from my cousin that his sister and her husband had a baby boy named "Tyler Jacob" on Sept 17th, and he weighed 8lbs, 15ozes and was 21 inches long.

I googled him after learning this mobster at a Genealogy meeting and found out that he was Jewish and during World War II, that there was Nazi rally somewhere in America and him and bunch of guy beat them up.

So I just got home from being at our local ammusment park. We went there to get mine and my mom's ID's for work. This is my first job which I'm excited for. I'm a Gopher which means I will take people's places when they need to use the bathroom or go to their breaks. I'm going to be working all fall and I'm at our kids area. This makes me wonder what everyone's first jobs were.

Does anybody know someone in the big blizzard? Our daughter and her family live in Winchester Virginia so they're in the worst part of it. So far they still have electricity so if that holds out they'll be fine. They don't have a lot of snow plows down there so it will be a long time before they clear this out. They could get four feet of snow.

I wonder if anyone here has seen the show Katts and Dog. About a police officer named Hank Katts who fights crime with his K-9 partner Rudy. Some people may remember the show as Rin Tin Tin: K-9 Cop. Rin Tin Tin: K-9 Cop was the name of the show in the US, and they also dubbed the name Rudy to Rinty. Why they did that I'll probably never know. I have join a petition site the try and get this show on DVD or back on the air. I used to watch it a lot and I really liked that show. I really miss it too. Say no to Wal-Mart for Christmas I was pretty angry last year, as I'm sure many of you were when Wal-Mart decided to get rid of layaway. That was a pretty dumb and mean-spirited decision on their part. I personally know many people who are only able to buy Christmas presents for their families because of layaway. I want to say , I sure do miss it here, been Depressed a lot and trying to deal with it, but It is just hard. So me and my brother share a room and it's in the front of our house. Our house is also an apartment. Well our new upstairs neighbor was plunging the bath tub with a plunger and I'm pretty sure that's what made our ceiling leak. It hasn't done it is years. We've had to move so much and put so plastic down. It's horrible. I hate our house. I want to move so badly. I'm like an emotional wreck. Nothings been damaged yet, it's just who I am. Hope that it ends soon. But now I'm going to feel awful in school, all thanks to my neighbors. So has any of ya guys had a house as bad as this?

My new favorite thing is watching people from all over the world getting to experience the US for the first time while they're here for the World Cup. I especially love seeing the Tartan Army (seeing as I'm about half Scottish) and the folks experiencing the South (authentic BBQ anyone?). Boston has a large population with Scots-Irish ancestry, as does the South, so it's not surprising they're feeling like kindred spirits.
