The word is getting around that TNN will hit the air again this summer. For those of y'all who are too young to remember it, TNN used to carry the Dukes before CMT picked it up. And while CMT has been good to the Dukes - most notably sponsoring DukesFest in 2005 - their programming has been moving into more reality tv and airing of 20-year old movies. For the past couple years, CMT has had the Dukes of Hazzard on the backburner, parking it in 1 and 2 am Eastern time slots, right before the sleezy infomercials. Hey everybody... I know I haven't been on here for a while, but there's lots of reason! haha As many of you know, I love the farm more than anything. I live on our family farm that has been in the family for 100 years. My great-granddad was the first settler in this area, buying a 10 acre plot of land on the river bank. We still own the original homestead and have expanded the operation to over 3000 acres and 350 head of cattle. We had a big scare this spring and wound up almost losing the whole spread. I've been absolutely glued to my TV set. Being from Canada, I don't get to talk to too many folks about baseball, as its more of an "American sport". Of course, we do have the Toronto Blue Jays (and I'm from Toronto!) but seeing the way our season went was just awful. But that's besides the point. Anyone been watching the playoffs? This year they have been amazing! I think that the Wildcard games, division series and championship series have all been the most exciting ones in recent memory. If anyone wants to talk baseball, hit me up in this thread! I'm obsessed.

So I just got home from being at our local ammusment park. We went there to get mine and my mom's ID's for work. This is my first job which I'm excited for. I'm a Gopher which means I will take people's places when they need to use the bathroom or go to their breaks. I'm going to be working all fall and I'm at our kids area. This makes me wonder what everyone's first jobs were.

We're off to an Alan Jackson concert tonight and have 5th row seats on the floor in front of the stage. I'm not a huge fan but my wife is. I just became a bigger fan a few minutes ago when I checked wickapedia and found out he was raised dirt poor in Georgia. I'm wearing my 01 hat and orange Dukes shirt just in case he notices....they are bright colors after all....and the hat was signed by another Georgia boy, Sonny Shroyer. I'll just bet ya that 'ole Alan is a Dukes fan.

okay so, some time before we moved last year, my mom said I could get a pet rabbit, on two conditions, 1: I actually took care of it and 2: that I had a job and she bought me the rabbit hutch last year for christmas and I have all the supplies and everything I need EXCEPT THE JOB and its not for lack of trying either, I've applied to literally everywhere and its a "oh sorry you need to be 18" or a "sorry we're not hiring" and not even the online places wanna hire me. I got denied a job because I didn't have a driver's license (im still on permit) because they were worried about my commute.....IT WAS A REMOTE JOB FROM GERMANY I......I just want a bunny…

Howdy Y'all! I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to cause I might not be on here Thursday...so... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! So what are you all going to do this Turkey Day? First off I am going to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade...It is kind of a tradition for me...Then I am going out with my parents for a Turkey buffet dinner thingy in the early afternoon...Then later that night I am going to my Grandmas for our family dinner...but other than that I am going to take it easy.... Have you guys ever seen the cast in other shows? I mean besides Smokey and the Bandit....I just bought a video Catherine Bach did back in '78 just before DOH. I haven't seen it yet but will let you know.

My beloved aunt Dixie (honest that's her name) passed away this afternoon after a long battle with brain cancer. It's been a very hard couple of weeks for my family. Hey y'all I'm watching a show on tv at the moment that's about what's going to happen on December 21st 2012. Some of it is pretty believable but most of it seems dramatized. Personally I don't think the worlds going to end I'm December but I'm just curious to see what you guys think. It's always interesting to see people's opinions on topics like this.

Howdy Y'all...There is a news story right now saying that tomorrow may be the end of the world. I dunno if y'all heard it or but I was just wonderin what y'all thought...to make it short for those who ain't heard...there are these scientist(in Switzerland(sp) I think) who tomorrow morning(Wednsday) they are going to shoot particles at each other hoping that they can recreate what happened with the theory 'the big bang'. THey want to find what the universe is made of and have spent billions of dollars on it...There are some saying that by doing this it is going to create microscropic black holes that are goin to gobble the world up and well THE END....thats it in a nutshel…

I was planning on going to an American car show today (this one where I sat in a General Lee last year), but various factors conspired against it. Luckily there was another car related event much closer to home: Cannonball Ireland 2011 came to town. Unlike the namesake movies from the '80s, this was not a race, but just a charity fund-raising cruise of some very expensive cars including Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis and Aston Martins amongst others: There were a few American cars there too: They all parked up in the grounds of the castle. There must have been several million dollars' worth of cars on show.

Say no to Wal-Mart for Christmas I was pretty angry last year, as I'm sure many of you were when Wal-Mart decided to get rid of layaway. That was a pretty dumb and mean-spirited decision on their part. I personally know many people who are only able to buy Christmas presents for their families because of layaway. Well they're playing Scrooge again this year, though they may very well have done this in the past without anybody noticing. A month ago, a friend of mine sent me the money to buy her a 1:10 scale remote controlled General Lee at Wal-Mart. Here's where the Scrooge part comes in, a month ago the price was 30 dollars. My fiance' went to the hospital yesterday after coughing up blood and they took an xray. All he knows so far is there's something wrong in his lungs. He'll be going in for more tests. I need some help from people that aren't my real life friends. I don't know whether or not to join my school marching band. I'd be the only bass clarinet player. The band really needs one because apparently they're the only one that doesn't have one. All my friends that are in it are saying that I should. I can't decide though. Any thoughts?
