I have some news from Tom Sarmento. He has had many people asking him how they can show the Baxley family their expressions of sorrow over the loss of stunt coordinator Paul Baxley. The Baxley family will be having a memorial service later this month for Paul. Tom will be attending. He said that he wants to help the "Dukes" fans so this is what he has come up with. Tom thinks it best if people who want to do something send cards. That way each person can write whatever they personally want to say on the card. Then mail the card to him at his home address. He will personally hand deliver all the cards he receives by the end of next week (Saturday, March 19) to Pau…

Anybody going to see Ben Jones at the International Auto Showcase at the New York State Fairgrounds this weekend? If so, we'd greatly appreciate any photos you can share! Just a reminder, there are a slew of cast appearances coming up and many of these were listed in our March 2012 Newsletter. We will also do our best to post reminders on our Facebook page a good week or two before any event, and we try to keep the Forums updated here as well, but obviously in Ben's case I forgot to cross-post it on the Forums until the last minute.

First time here.....and I have the most fabuous news if any of you are living in Canada!!!! CMT Canada (Country Music Television) will be airing The Dukes of Hazzard come October.......Let me know if any of you can get CMT Canada where you live!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow, an old interview of Waylon Jennings is going to be on NPR (National Public Radio). I think the show is going to lead with Willie Nelson though. It would be awesome if the interview took place while Dukes was being filmed. Maybe he mentioned it. If you miss it, I bet you can probably catch it on NPRs website. Just to clarify...the interview will aired September 1 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. NPR is doing a series of old interviews from country music stars this week.

National Public Radio (NPR) is airing old interviews of country music stars this week. Tomorrow (Wed) at 3:00 Eastern Standard Time they will feature Waylon and Willie. I think they're airing the Willie interview first. It sure would be cool if the Waylon interview occured when Dukes was being filmed and he mentions our favorite show. If you miss it, it might be available on their website after Wednesday. I'm not sure though.

We lost another great figure in Hollywood and country music, Buck Owen passed away at age 76. He was on Hee Haw with Roy Clark. He wrote many famous tunes such as 'Act Naturally'. Many pop singers also sang his music. Buck you will be missed.

James Best, who is best known for playing Rosco P. Coltrane on TV's "The Dukes of Hazzard," will receive the Harvey Award from The Jimmy Stewart Museum. Best, 80, is scheduled to receive the award Oct. 20 at an event hosted by Nick and Nina Clooney. 10th annual Canton Hot Rod show. She's only ther one day so anyone going get there early. She's gonna be there 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m - 9:30 p.m. Not sure who's General Lee they are using as I have yet to be contacted.
