Roger suggested that those of you who weren't able to attend the concerts in Niagara Falls by Tom and john might like to know a bit about them. I am not a review writer, but I'll try to give you an idea. First of all though I have to say I originally was only going to the Saturday Show. Then John's mom, wonderful lady that she is, heard I didn't have a ticket for Friday and lo and behold I find my self in the third row both nights, close enough to see Tom's beautiful eyes and john's gorgeous smile...but I digress... After reviewing this thread it sure seems like we're not doing a good job of informing folks about where our favorite actors are going to be. I was wondering with someone with more computer skills than me would be willing to adopt this forum. Is there any possibility that someone could surf around and gather all the information and post it here? My computer skills are 1 on a scale of 1-10 (all I do is HazzardNet) so I'm sure someone could find this stuff out better than me. I have some news from Tom Sarmento. He has had many people asking him how they can show the Baxley family their expressions of sorrow over the loss of stunt coordinator Paul Baxley. The Baxley family will be having a memorial service later this month for Paul. Tom will be attending. He said that he wants to help the "Dukes" fans so this is what he has come up with. Tom thinks it best if people who want to do something send cards. That way each person can write whatever they personally want to say on the card. Then mail the card to him at his home address. I was watching the local news tonight and got a big surprise. Before they go to the weather, my local station talks about human interest stories that are happening accross the country. When I heard them mention Conyers Georgia my ears perked up. For those of you who don't know, Conyers is one of the locations the Dukes was filmed at when the show was in its infancy during the first 5 episodes before moving to California. Anyways, a 14 month old toddler wandered into the Wells Fargo bank vault in Conyers and somehow the vault door closed. There were no adults inside and the door was on a time lock. It includes pictures of the original main cast plus cast members that had reoccurring roles in the show while the original theme song, "Good ol Boys" by Waylon Jennings is playing through it. Tomorrow, an old interview of Waylon Jennings is going to be on NPR (National Public Radio). I think the show is going to lead with Willie Nelson though. It would be awesome if the interview took place while Dukes was being filmed. Maybe he mentioned it. If you miss it, I bet you can probably catch it on NPRs website. Just to clarify...the interview will aired September 1 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. NPR is doing a series of old interviews from country music stars this week.

National Public Radio (NPR) is airing old interviews of country music stars this week. Tomorrow (Wed) at 3:00 Eastern Standard Time they will feature Waylon and Willie. I think they're airing the Willie interview first. It sure would be cool if the Waylon interview occured when Dukes was being filmed and he mentions our favorite show. If you miss it, it might be available on their website after Wednesday. I'm not sure though.

Rides looks back at a classic as it also recreates one for a car-loving Superstar. The "Dukes of Hazzard' speed demon is being recreated and remade into 'Extreme Lee.' I went to dukesfest 08 and didnt have time to look at all of the filming locations well just got to drive through conyers. Since gas alot cheaper I talked to my wife and my cousin and I are gonna drive down here in a month or two. Really excited, just wanted to share the news.
