Introduce Yourself

If you're new to our forums or have just been lurking without posting, here's a good place to make your first post by introducing yourself. Tell us how big a Dukes of Hazzard fan you are! But remember, there IS such a thing as TMI (too much information). ;)

  1. Howdy, fans? I am new on this site and I just wanted to say hi to y'all and I am ready to talk about the show the whole day. I was searching in the posts for a while. I was looking for The Dukes of Hazzard english subtitles but I didn't find any. Could someone help me and send them from season 2-7 to my e-mail? That would be great assistance, cuz in my country the first 2 seasons had been translated only and I would like to translate the rest and make HunSub and share it to the Hungarian Fans. Thank you. Kee-kee-kee!

Hello all, I have lurked on this site for a while and finally have taken the time to register. I was 10 years old when the Dukes first came on TV in 1979. I kept hearing others kids talking about this new TV show, so I asked one of them what it was. I was a bit confused by the title "The Dukes of Hazzard", but one of the kids explained the show. I watched it the following Friday night and was hooked. I mean I just freaked out. It was the perfect show for a young boy. Who did not want to be one of the Duke boys? They got to race around in a really cool car, all the women liked them and they won almost every fight they got in. Anyway...I bought any and everything I could as…

Hi My name is Nick. I've been into Dukes of Hazzard since I was about 8 years old which was 1997. My dad and I have also been into Dodge Charger's. We've had four of them: 1968 H code 383 black/black 1968 H code 383 red/black 1968 R/T 440 QQ1 tourquoise 1969 R/T SE 440 we built into a General Lee in 05/06 1969 Dodge Superbee 383 4 speed- not a charger but still a fun car After watching Barrett Jackson on Saturday and watching Lee 1 go through the auction it kind of sparked my interest in Dukes of Hazzard again, although I've always been interested. I spent many hours on this site last night looking at the excellent thread by Hoss about all the filming locations. I live a…

I am a long time fan of the Dukes, and my school grades reflex that. Every Friday night,I would be perched in front of the TV,snacks and drink in front of me,brothers, and cousins. I was disappointed when the series was cancelled in 1985.When they were broadcast on TNN in 1995,I jumped for joy and started taping them. Maybe when I die,my casket will be orange, with an 01 on the sides, and the conferedate flag on top.My tombstone might have a General Lee on it.

Hello Everyone: My name is Will and I just discovered this forum thru my Dukes following on Facebook and so glad I did. I live in Fayetteville, NC, 41 years old and am a lifelong Dukes fan. I still have my Dukes of Hazzard watch which still works, my General Lee matchbox car and a polaroid pic of me as a kid with a General Lee in front of Kmart. My biggest regret in life was never getting the original Dukes of Hazzard game and Steering wheel console for my Colecovision. I love learning anything about the Dukes and am looking forward to reading all the great content on here. Thanks for having me and thanks to the people who started HazzardNet and keep it going.

I found this site awhile ago and finally signed in a few months ago and well life got in the way...My name is Dan and I've been a Dukes fan for many years. At one point I owned the whole series but they were all destroyed in a fire along with all my other possessions a couple of years ago...I managed to buy the first three seasons at Walmart, but moneys tight I hope to get the rest of the show at some point. Lets see I've been married about ten years, I drive an '85 Plymouth Gran Fury called The Cherry Bomb, I love rock and roll, movies, TV shows, and Mopars from the '70s, '80s and in some cases '90s, I wish I could think of more to say but I'm new here and a little nervo…

Hi everyone! It's great to be on Hazzard net! Ive been looking at this site for year but I've only recently just signed up. I've been a fan of the dukes of Hazzard now for many years. I've been collecting DOH annuals recently from the 80s and a few weeks ago finished re-reading gone racing. I'm interested in computers and cars. That's probably one of the main reasons I've enjoyed the dukes so much, because of the cars. So yeah! That's me.

Hello all, I have been looking at the forum for awhile now but never posted. I live in Knoxville, TN (about 30 minutes outside of Gatlinburg). I own a 1968 Dodge Charger General Lee autographed by Cooter (before my ownership). Great General even though previous owner decided to keep it looking like a 68 instead of a 69 and I was perfectly happy with it. -Godfather

  18. Hi all. I've been a member for about six years, but have been a very infrequent visitor. This may be only my third or fourth post. "The Dukes of Hazzard" was part of my early adult life, I was in the Navy at the time. I recall buying only one "People" magazine in my life, and Catherine Bach was featured in it! Being in the Navy then, aboard ship and overseas I often only saw the show when I was home. Since that time, and as it passes I've found myself missing the show (as about 99% of ya'll). Denver Pyle was my favorite (sorry Catherine, but you were a very close 2nd!). I don't have cable, but do have some of the season DVDs. Several years ago on the way back hom…

Hi, all. I'm a newish Dukes of Hazzard fan as I first watched random episodes of the show on TV a few years ago and now I'm watching them in their respective order, so far I'm on Season 4 and really enjoying it. That said, I'm glad there's this community as the show has been deemed "racist" by the media and so many would rather avoid talking about it even though the boys, Hogg and everyone were never offensive/racist (Hogg and Rosco were corrupt and slimy, but that's their thing). Bye.

Hey everyone, I'm Kim I'm a born and bred Okie wishing I was in Hazzard. I've been reading the fan fiction for awhile now and decided it was about time to join. Everyone I know gives me a hard time for being such a big Dukes of Hazzard fan and the only two people I ever know that were as big Dukes fans as me are gone so it's nice to found a place with more. I enjoy the stories!!!

The general lee boss hogg and roscoe never got the rest. It was a privallege to see one of the general Lee's used during a coy and vance episode. Till this day as an adult I love the dukes.
