I'm new and looking to talk to somebody that might own a 24kt gold general lee.

I’ve only been here for quite a few weeks, but all the content here is nice (mostly with the squad cars though...) But when I found out about this forum I hadn’t known about The Dukes of Hazzard (sure there was the 2000s movie but the TV series from before? Nope.) apart from the fact that several of the patrol cars used by the lawmen in Hazzard County have made appearances in other films and TV series, plus somewhat more notable cars too. Movies that I’ve watched so far: The Blues Brothers, Smokey & The Bandit as well as S&TB2, plus H.B Halicki’s The JunkMan, the original Gone In Sixty Seconds and it’s 2000s reboot and Blues Brothers 2000. …

Hi erveryone , as you probably all guessed I´m new here. I´m from germany and I, first of all, want to apologize for any mistakes I more than likely make in english, I´m still learning . And now I want to make an confession. I´m a little ashamed to say that I´m only a Duke fan for about a month now, but when I saw them, I fell in love with the good ol boys right away. My childhood was all about the Dukes of Hazzard. I found the Facebook page for Hazzardnet and have been following the posts and enjoying the memories that come with them. I was born in 1978 and while all my friends watched the show for Daisy, my love was the General Lee. I had the die casts growing up and eventually lost them however never lost my dream of having an actual 69 dodge charger painted like the General blaring the Dixie horn. I still do not own one unless you count the 1/25 scale car sitting next to my bed. I'm finishing up my 1977 Monaco Rosco cruiser. A prob I am having is how to properly install the drivers side mirror with out interfeering with the glass going up and down. Any chance someone may have a pic that shows the proper positioning for the mirror wire clips? Thanks

Glad to join the forums here! I'm 33, been a Duke fan since watching the series while barely out of diapers! I've had the pleasure of meeting Ben Jones twice. One of my most treasured pictures is him holding my 2yo boy and posing with the "Crazy Cooter smile".
