Introduce Yourself

I'm a newbie, my name is Ina. I'm from Germany. Originally of the so called eldest town of Germany, Trier. This town lies next to the Luxembourgian border. We are told to speak in a very funny non understandable dialect. I can understand it, but not speak it myself. I currently live in a village in the Midwest of Germany in an area called the Oberer Westerwald (literally Upper Western Forest). In some cases our valley looks a bit like Hazzard County, regarding the streets and the car chases the Wäller (that's how the people are called here) are performing very often. Wäller are very fast drivers, the roads are long and abandoned. Only thing is that it isn't that dry and…

Hey, I'm glad to find this site. I've been a Dukes fan ever since the other kids in my neighborhood introduced me to it way back when, when I was too young to really catch everything that happened, even...but I sure knew I liked that car! I'm a bit of a crafter and just finished a Dukes project, so I'll be posting that over to the Hobbies section after I get the hang of this forum. Thanks to HossC and RogerDuke for the nice welcomes. LD

Howdy Hazzardnet, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's John, and I'm from the great white north.... Otherwise known as Canada. From the province of Ontario, to be exact. I'm 21 years old, and have been a Dukes fan since I was about 7 or 8. That brought me an odd childhood... While all the kids were watching their Saturday morning cartoons, I'd be up watching the General fly. No one ever understood it, but it's fueled my obsession with the Dukes of Hazzard for years and years. Over that time, I've gained quite a collection of Dukes memorabilia, as well as run my own Dukes website. Its nothing like the wonderful Hazzardnet, but I'm still proud of it. I look forwar…

Hey everyone, I'm Kim I'm a born and bred Okie wishing I was in Hazzard. I've been reading the fan fiction for awhile now and decided it was about time to join. Everyone I know gives me a hard time for being such a big Dukes of Hazzard fan and the only two people I ever know that were as big Dukes fans as me are gone so it's nice to found a place with more. I enjoy the stories!!!

Just signed up. I'm a resurrected Duke fan. Loved it as a kid, got the series DVD's and am reliving the whole thing again. From Ontario, Just got back from a trip to Conyers, Covington. Picked up a slight Draw'l really interested in the history, of the movie, the cast, the cars, the moonshine.... Anyone know how to view the Moonrunners? I bleed orange - General Lee's, and KTM's. Cheers JimmyJ

Hi Everyone! I've been a "lurker" for years but just recently joined the site! I thought I would introduce myself! My pen name is Enos'sGal (or some call me EG). I'm an equestrian and love to read, have three sons and a wonderful hubby! The DOH was a favorite show of mine growing up! I wish they still made shows like that today! It was certainly special and something to share with the kids. In fact when the re-runs started a few years ago, my youngest son would watch them every evening with me and grew to enjoy it just as much! I've just finished writing my first fanfic and had an AWESOME experience! DOH fans just ROCK! It's nice to be here! Enos'sGal

Hey guys,my names Conall.I've been a fan of the show my whole life and have been visiting this site for about two years. Hey Y'all My name is Hope Harbaugh and I'm 17 years old. I live in Eugene, OR , and I'm a junior in high school. I became a Duke fan a year ago when the show aired on CMT!! I know that The Dukes of Hazzard was WAY before my time, but when a new episode was on, I feels like I'm part of the new generation of Duke fans, excited to watch new episodes, sitting on the couch, and intisepated about what kind of mischief the Dukes might get into. Every weekday during school from 6-8 PM, I watch The Dukes of Hazzard. Watching Dukes after school was a GREAT way to relax, laugh, and to forget how much I was stressing for an upcomming tests and projects. Now, that I can't watch t…

Hey Everyone, Just joined and im a Big fan like im sure most of you are.. I should say though that im a fan of the tv series and not those two movies released a few years ago... although the general looked and sounded pretty good (despite the lack of Real stunt work).. Matt

howdie ya'll myname is Aniya an im from the caribbean on the island o Trinidad. Im completly new to this board. How's everyone goin'?

Howdy everybody, I am new to the hazzard net but by no means to the Dukes of Hazzard. I have been a fan since the early 80's. In my opinion this was the greastest show ever on television. I live in a small town that ya'll probably never heard of in south west Georgia. It reminds me alot of Hazzard Co. Well I am glad to be a part of this site and hope to makes lots of fellow "Hazzard" friends.

Howdy there. Now I'm not actually Southern, but I have always wanted to have a Southern accent. In fact, anytime I watch a Dukes of Hazzard episode, I find myself talking with a bit of a Southern twang for a while. I love it! I have been a Dukes of Hazzard fan since the first time I saw a rerun on TV (I'm not old enough to have seen the original airings, unfortunately). Someday I hope to attend Dukesfest.

hey ya'll Dixie here just your average good ole gal who is a true all the way threw country girl who loves dukes of hazzard specially Bo and Luke

Hi erveryone , as you probably all guessed I´m new here. I´m from germany and I, first of all, want to apologize for any mistakes I more than likely make in english, I´m still learning . And now I want to make an confession. I´m a little ashamed to say that I´m only a Duke fan for about a month now, but when I saw them, I fell in love with the good ol boys right away. Now I made it my personal assignment to catch up. purchased DVDs, read what I can and watch interviews and all. soooo I´m learning. That´s from me for now, hope I meet new interesting people here:-P

Hi everyone! It's great to be on Hazzard net! Ive been looking at this site for year but I've only recently just signed up. I've been a fan of the dukes of Hazzard now for many years. I've been collecting DOH annuals recently from the 80s and a few weeks ago finished re-reading gone racing. I'm interested in computers and cars. That's probably one of the main reasons I've enjoyed the dukes so much, because of the cars. So yeah! That's me.

Hello. Im a new member here but very old in the Dukes. I am 24 now diacovered the Dukes when cmt started with the re runs. I am a gear head and have been wrenching on cars since is was 14. My favorite season is the 1st with an emphasis on the Georgia episodes. My goal is to build a charger into a clone of Lee2. I just need to find a charger. Lol

My son is 7 and he adores the dukes of hazzard!!! I grew up watching the dukes of hazzard and loved it. Now I have a 7 yr old son that would rather watch a old episode of the Dukes that any cartoon or movie on tv!! I love it good clean family show! We have shirts with the dukes the cars and now in the process of painting his room orange 01 painted on the wall with confederate curtains!! I am now planning a road trip to Cooters place in Nashville so he can see the cars this Summer. I would love to be able for him to meet some of the cast that is still around. hope to find lots of info from you folks here!

first time on this chat room and looking for lee info. does anyone have the dimensions for making the wide front push bar. i really want to add the finnishing touches.

My name is Wendy. The real Denver C is my cat , Denver Coletrane - a black and white manx, named, of course, after two of the greatest residents of Hazzard county! He has followed them around the screen more than any other characters since the day I got him. He always comes running when he hears the theme song, and will not move until the show is over.(What can I say, he has good taste!) Denver is also my screen name for my fanfiction postings. I figure if he's going to be in my lap the entire time I'm on the computer, he might as well get a mention somewhere. Anyway, enough about us. Denny and I are both looking forwars to meeting everybody here.
