Introduce Yourself

Hey y'all, Just a note to new users that your first post or posts will be moderated and they won't show immediately when you post. HNet is patroled pretty much daily by admin, but please allow admin time to catch up and approve posts before ya post the same post again. LOL Techncially, new users are moderated on their first 10 posts before they become a "regular" user, but if we can see you're a serious Dukes fan, we move ya over to regular status pretty quick so you can enjoy the site. That concludes this here public announcement. Carry on y'all!

Well, even though I've been around cyberHazzard forever, this forum looked very lonely without any posts. So I thought I'd get things started. Hi, I'm Meadowmufn and I'm a Dukeaholic. I own this place and run it with my good buddies MaryAnne and Brian. We're members of the Coltrane clan, so why this place is still in operating order is a mystery to anyone who knows us. Despite our best efforts to sabotage it, HazzardNet continues to thrive (and play tricks on us, I might add), leading us to suspect that it has become a sentient being in its own right. So, welcome. Sit yourself down and enjoy our little slice of cyberHazzard.

I've been a Dukes fan longer than I remember.... since I was old enough to stay up as a kid on Friday nights and watch TV (so my mom tells me). My name is Justin Cornette and I am from Jackson Mississippi but I usually go by "CornDog" on many of the forums. I was lucky enough to buy one of the General Lee's from the recent 2005 and 2007 movies. This car is actually better known from it's…

Hello all. My name is Earl and would like to thank you for letting me join your network of friends. I live in Northeast PA with my wife and four wonderful children. We have several old muscle cars, but none as fun to drive as are recently restored General Lee. If you have one you know what I mean. I look forward to getting to know many of you and hopefully meet several of you at the some of the Duke events. Feel free to drop me a line, like many I could talk all day about this stuff, but I also enjoy my family time. Thanks again... I'm gone!

Been awhile since I been on here, lot's have happened in my life, and now I am here again, thank goodness my account is still here.! I was peeved to the bone when I found out WB wanted to strip the General Lee from it's flag, like are they nuts??? Was glad to see the forum on the flag is staying, that was a relief !!! Last Year, May 3 2012, I got married, and for the friends I have made on here, you know how my life was kind a mess, but now I am happy, I am married and thrilled to be back on HN!!!!!

Just wanted to drop in and say hi ya'll. I've been a Dukes fan since they orginally aired in the 80's and have watched reruns, but now I own all the seasons and don't have to wait for it to air. I love the down homeness of the dukes and what they stood for and thier values in life. Hope to see you all around...

Hey everyone...I grew up watching Dukes of Hazzard as a kid and have been a big fan. I now have the opportunity to work with Tom Wopat on his Facebook & Twitter. Looking forward to meeting other Tom Wopat fans!

hey i just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum. My name is Christine and I'm glad to be here. Thanks for having me. Does anyone watch Las Vegas, the tv show? I haven't been watching lately and I want to know what's going on. I don't want those like small episode recaps that don't tell you anything. I want some details from like the last three episodes. If you watch it then stop my way. thanks.

I believe i use to post on here before my old computer crash and i just run across this site and i could not remember my username and since i had a new email addy i had to rejoin. my real name is Shannon and i been a Dukes Fan since 1980's. Hope to meet alot of Dukes Fan on here

Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Mo . While I do like the show alot, and it brings back a lot of memories of my childhood watching it, my biggest interest is with the General Lee Charger. I'm actually working on building a modern day version of it if budget allows....

Hi, I'm Marilyn and I'm new here in Hazzard. Just wanted to let ya'll know I LOVE the fan fiction, especially jamanda's Enos/Daisy stories. I just finished Next Generation 1-3 and just drooled over the flashbacks and story line. Finally someone who treats Enos like a person and not just a stupid character. I have loved him ever since I first saw the show in '80 and always felt they didn't use him enough in the stories and was heartbroken when he and Daisy didn't get married. I missed all the reunions, hopefully they'll be added to DVDs somewhere. Oh well, I live in northern MN and am enjoying the snow.

Glad to be here folks, hope I'll find a lot of great information here! Just a little about myself: I grew up in a small town similar to Hazzard from the series: my town was about 550 people, and surrounded by dirt/gravel roads; and I grew up in a muscle-car loving family--so naturally, as a kid--that country lifestyle was all I knew. It was only natural I should fall in love with the show and the General Lee. Unfortunately, I was forced to move to Utah when I joined the military some years ago--but there are still a few little towns here that remind me of home. As an occupation, I am part-time Air Force Reserve (I load bombs and maintain weapons systems) as a Staff Sergea…

I already posted twice, but nothing showed up. I'm a 46 year old male originally from West Virginia, but currently reside in Ukraine. Watched the DOH from the very beginning. Dreamed of owning a General Lee, but closest I ever came was an '81 Mirada which I rebuilt myself. It was painted Rustoleum Deep Purple Metallic. Almost Plum Crazy. Still want to know if anyone else saw the pilot episode with the '66-67 Charger General Lee?
