Whats the earliest we could expect to hear news about a sequel? I realize it's still in theatres and we have the DVD sales to look forward to, but I'm just wondering what it will take for the WB to declare the movie a success as well as greenlight a sequel. Also, I wonder if any of the cast were signed ahead of time in case a sequel was given the go ahead or whether or not is was just a one picture deal to begin with.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Extreme Lee that was mentioned in a post back in November is being featured on TLC's RIDES this week, airing at 10:00 pm on Tues 1/25 with repeats at 1:00 am on the 26th and 3:00 pm on the 30th. From what I understand they will feature the building of the car on the show.

Sheev ok everyone in the movie was but Sheev toke the cake he was way out there and i do mean way out there he goes around thanking the goverment wants to read his mind but trust me after you see him you'll be thanking his mind is a waste land He was so funny

I was just watching my tape of TLC's Rides and got to thinking how I would make an "Exteme Lee". I would put more chrome on it for sure. The cow-catcher on the front would be chrome as would the rims. I'd put some kinda 18 polished aluminum racing wheels on it. I love old muscle car's with 18 on them. I do the interior something the King Ranch editions of Ford trucks with different shades of brown leather and saddlebags. Instead of a 440 magnum I'd put a 426 hemi. The paint job would stay the same except I try to maybe to have a subtle 01 on the roof outlinged in the rebel flag to make it look more NASCAR.

I beleave that this movie was a outlet for a Dukes fan (if you can call him that) and to write a Duke movie based on what he felt how the Dukes should have been like. On CMT Insider John does say that the first 5 episodes did had more grip to them meaning they had some mild cussing, Daisy showed her body more, and I think they make some other references the later episoses didn't have. I think what Jay wanted to do was to capture the feel of those episodes but went a bit too far when he put references to Jackass and Super Troopers.. As for me, if it wasn't for it having the General in it, I really don't think I would have enjoy it as much as I did.

Okay, I may be new here but Ive always been into the DOH (what child in the eighties wasnt?) and we all also know that the General was (or seemed as) the Real star of the show in many cases. Some may argue. I read in a review of the movie that it's a movie version of "Farewell, Hazzerd".

I'm worried it's not going to make the money it should now.. opinions?

I have read that on differnt sites if its true then isn't that to soon or is WB trying to get more money?

Last night I saw club dread , suposidly a comidy but really a horrior flick by Broken Lizzard blood drougs sex nudity and cuite chicks all walle trapped on a island I thought the most casting was pretty good MC Gainey did a good job playng hank ( a very serious charactor) The new rosco might be more like Big ed little or Sherriff Emmit Lumis Spike of hatchipiee county than ol bumbiling in cohouts James Best But then again a low budget actor that no ones ever heard of..... mabe thats why he wasn't in the traller.......or on the website

The offical word is the soundtrack comes out July 19th!
