I read this on another board that in the new Intertanment Weekly the first words wroge but dont know how to spell it but anyway they thanked him for the publicity he gave to this movie

Wow, for an afternoon showing boy was that theater packed! at the sign of the first jump about a bakers dozen cheered! Well I saw the movie and loved it! I'm gonna try and see it again later this week. The girl I took liked it too and she's not country at all. Now the only thing I'm worried about is how much money it's gonna make cause lets face it, the only way we'll get a part two is if it does well at the box office. I went and saw it Friday night in Winter Park, FL, which is a very nice area in Orlando. Not a whole lot of people in that part of town that I thought would see this movie. Some of the lines they came up with were both great and sad! I liked this one Bo:I am never getting out of this car, I'm gonna sleep in this car, eat in this car and make sweet love to this car! Some people have disliked the cast since the day that Stiffler and Jackass where cast as the the Duke Boys. But the truth is the problem isn't the cast at all. The problem lies in the director and how he wanted the the charactors portrayed. Unfortanatly some of the new charactors had little or no resemblence to the originals. I think the cast did their best at playing the charachtors the way the director wanted them. Its no secret that when this movie got the green light some of the biggest names in hollywood wanted to be a part of this movie, so as fans along with people in general, many of us had had high expectatations for a really good cast with BIG names. Few I think love the TV show the Dukes of Hazzard more than I do. Let me express it this way theres a story behind my affection. Back in 1981 when at a crossroads in my car building business in Idaho, I was in the march of going to the 1981 Salt Lake City Autorama. We at the shop had a different car nearly built, when on a scouting trip to find white go-go boots for the display, I ran across a duplicate General Lee. That was so exact it was teriffc. So then, the guy who built that car was going on a LDS Mission, and needed to sell the car, so I did what any good Duke fan would do, I bought it. Dug this one up from the March 28th issue of the "Star" celebrity mag. Says here, Jessica worked out six days a week with a personal trainer, in order to fit her buns into the Daisy Dukes package. That's terrific, but has she ever watched a Dukes episode? Hmm. On an aside, the article goes on to quote the movie release date as June 24. Why have they made Boss Hogg tall and thin in this film. I think Burt will be great as Boss Hogg but he is ment to be short and fat. They should have kept him short and fat.

Hey all! I love this site! Even though I didn't care for the new movie 100% (except for the General, of course ), I found a Charger close to where I live. I "might" be getting it. However, it could use some work. So, "if" I get it, I kinda liked how the General looked before his make-over. So, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the 01 decals they had at the beginning of the movie. Were they painted on? Where can I get the decals if they were simply decals?
