Let's say one day a movie came along for the Dukes, let's say 100x better than the two we already got. Now, let's say the only really major change they make is they decide to reduce the number of cousins by making someone siblings, like the Duke boys or one of the boys and Daisy. How would you react to a move like that?

Ok guys, I have been reading a lot of posts about the new movie. People are upset about the cast and compare them to the TV show actors. First things first, I love the show as much as anyone but lets be truthful. Some of the actors were bad...very bad. John Scheinder and Catherine Bach are probably two of the worst actors ever. Bach looked good but, not that great. Even if Jessica Simpson can't act she can't be as bad as Bach. Lets face it, she looks way better than Bach did in the show. The same goes for Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville. A mean we are not talking about Macbeth here. I will have to say that Uncle Jesse, Roscoe and Boss Hogg were fantastic …

Here is another upset and sad review about the Dukes movie… I don’t think I’ve heard a good review yet, unless it showcases how “beautiful†Jessica Simpson is in her Diasy Dukes outfit. I know that Willie Nelson is playing Uncle Jesse's role for movie. He is kind of too skinny for this role. I happened watch movie and found a perfect guy for Uncle Jesse's role. His name is Mickey Jones and he fit for this character. He is stocky, with long hair and bear and wear overall. He like to look for revenge with laugh. That's my opinion. By the way, He appeared in Dukes of Hazzard tv show three times. I agree that Danny should play Boss Hogg.

Have bought the DVD and scenes are changed somewhat. Does anyone know where I can get a dvd of the movie as it was shown in the theaters?I was an extra in the movie and scenes I was in were changed on the dvd I found in the stores.

Hey, gang. Has anyone heard anything else about the additional Dukes DVD release that was supposed to be out today? It was supposed to be just a single disc with only the first episode "One Armed Bandits", but it was also supposed to have a behind-the-scenes look at the new movie, which is the only reason I'm interested in the DVD since I already have the first episode in the first season set. Anyone know what the deal is on this? Is it in stores today along with season three? -Keith

30 years ago the FCC was alot stricter, things were more family oriented, etc. but alots changed since the 70's. things that occured regularly back then considered as "raunchy" now are perfectly acceptable. its legal for women to be topless in canada (mostly), bud is pretty much legal in BC... the USA, things changed too, but canadas a small example. I just wanted to let everyone know that Amy Grant's 'Three Wishes' television show that was shot a little over 3 weeks ago in Covington will be airing this Friday night, October 21st, on NBC.
