What are some of the ideas that you have for a Third Dukes of Hazzard Movie would you cast and who would keep and replace as well. I think they should keep Harland Williams as Rosco he was funny in the role but they need somebody older for Enos he was too young.

went to a website about sean william scott (has great info on movie) filming of the Dukes is scheduled to start Nov 9th in louisiana. one of those teen maguzines PEOPLE ??? had an article about Nick and Jessica's relationship and said that Jessica was currently filming Dukes of Hazzard If this is true it raises a lot of good questions like who was cast as Rosco Cooter Enos???? why film in luisiana it should be at the town sqaure on the backlot at WB in Burbank CA. Or mabe in Georga where the first five episodes where filmed. This movie is starting to sound WACK no wonder BEN JONES was so outraged. the producers don't know what there doing.

Was anybody else here mad at just how few songs actually wound up on the Dukes movie soundtrack? If it'd had If You Want Blood on it, I'd've bought it. Yeah, I know there could be licensing issues, but that few a songs on it just chapped my hide. Maybe WB could issue a volume 2...

Me and a bud were debating this yesterday... Okay, we all remember the Original series where (of course) they had to show the car in mid air in slow motion. it almost seems that they did the same in the new flick? Only for one jump. the last one in the flick actually (off of cooters truck). but why do they seem like there in "Slo-Mo" in the new flick? they just made them bigger! Where my bud argues that they slow-motioned the jumps just as done in the original series. thoughts? im gone. -Brad

Someone on the Dukes Yahoo Group had this to say about the film So I saw the movie tonight as a Sneak Preview... I must say it is a darn fine flick. There's action, lots of comedy, and crazy ol' car stunts. But there is a problem. There's no "Duke" charm. None, Zip. Zilch. IT doesn't capture the good heartedness of the original. And yes, that PG-13 is a strong PG-13 rating. There's no if, ands, or buts about it. The reason I liked it is due to the fact that I have separated it from the Duke world we all know and love. I just saw the very first Dukes show on Bravo TV in the UK. I have never seen it before. It was kind of different to the shows they did later on in LA. I thought it was not so much of a spoof when it started like the LA shows were. Things in TV shows change a bit from when they start to when the finish. Like new writers maybe brought in and new people might join the cast and things that were cool and hip one year may not be so hip next year so they change thing . Hey Ya,ll Just some quick thoughts here. We all know that John Schneider was and still is great at putting the General Lee through his paces. He is actually a professional driver and I was told that he attended the Skip Barber Racing School. Is Sean W. Scott up to the challenge of making the General Lee dance the way he should? Or do you think it will be all left up to stunt drivers. I hope at least this new kid gets the proper training. Last night I attended the "Dukes of Hazzard" movie premiere in Hollywood and had a fantastic time. It took all day to get there, actually all day and half the day before and half of today...long story! Quick review: Amazing car work in the movie. The language is not always great, but the fun is there as is the BO/Luke relationship. Mr.Nelson performs the Dukes theme song, beyond awsome. but unfortuneate that its Only 1 minute long. who here wouldve like to hear an extended version (ie: 4min) of that opening theme? shouldve been done. im gone.

Hey ya'll I was going though some of my Cd's today and came across a Steve Earle Greatest Hits Album. On there is a song called "Copperhead Road" I dont know what you guys think but Id like to see Steve Earle do a modified version for the Dukes of Hazzard soundtrack. The music made this film even more fun to watch .. It was like the perfect songs at the perfect time.... 1. Mississippi Queen - Mountain - gave me goosebumps when the General was first born and it's lights came . Then in slow motion with Mississippi Queen famous guitar riff.....Awesome 2. My Wife Thinks Your Dead - Junior Brown - The Balladeer had to have a song in there. Boss Hogg is boiling crawdads and it's the song heard in the background. 3. Since we don't have a listing of the tracks yet for the Dukes movie soundtrack, does anyone think we'll get to hear both Willie Nelson AND Cage9's renditions of "Good Ol' Boys"? I hope so, personally. It would be nice to have a couple different versions, though none will measure up to Waylon Jennings' of course. Some of us have heard Willie's take on it either on Nick and Jessica's Tour of Duty TV special or a snippet of it on the exclusive Wal-Mart Dukes DVD. I know there have been soundtracks for other movies on which there are more than one version of the movie's theme, which makes me think they'll do the same thing here. But who knows? -Keith

I know it may be a stunter, but what's up with that wierd roundish number 0 on one of the pics? The only time I vaguely remember seeing that type of 01 was maybe on General Lee race-car for one of those electiric race tracks I had as a kid, but I can't recall for certain. Only thang I can figure is that the movie is using this type of font for long-distance shots of the General, and maybe this 01 somehow looks improved or something. Any comments?
