Dukes of Hazzard Movies

I would like to become an extra in the movie if possible. How, when, where, or what do I do? Any information would be appreciated.

Just found out on another site that Cletus is in this movie. I looked at the cast list and it has him there forget who the actor playing him is. Is this true or not?

Now im not sure if this was brought up before, but is Broken Lizard placing a small cameo for the Super Troopers in there? im gone. -Brad

Hi guys, When I watch that on ABCfamily channel and I did saw ads about new Dukes of Hazzard going on March 4th 7pm as well.. if any one got hear that one? what think that new charactors? I hope Willie has those awful braided ponytails cut off if he is to play Uncle Jesse!!! Honestly, that is one charactor that shouldnt be fouled up by anyone, especially someone that is not an actor. In my opinion, Jesse was everybodies uncle (eventhough he corrected everyone that called him Uncle Jesse, "I ain't your Uncle Jesse") and the most respected charactor on the show by everyone, all the charactors called him Sir or Mr. Duke. I just hate to see Uncle Jesse get dissed. I don't have a problem with the other cast members, and I know it is being built as a more serious atmosphere, but leave Unlce Jesse, as Uncle Jesse!!! Dan

Something I noticed in the new movie reminded me of something that I've heard Dukes creator Gy Waldron mention in an interview before. I have heard Waldron state that had the series continued past '85, there was a possibilty that they were going to have the Dukes talk to the General Lee and possibly have someone do a voice-over for the General Lee. Not only would fans just be able to see this car that in many ways was as much of a cast member as any of the actors, but they would be able to hear the car's perspective. Wanted to let you guys know that I found a new Collier & Co. - Hot Pursuit 2 Disc DVD at our local Rite Aid Pharmacy for $4.99! Yes $4.99! I couldn't believe it. I almost feel like I should mail John some money. Watched the special features disc last night and going to watch the movie tonight. Don't know if Mr. Schneider realizes it is being so so cheap, but I didn't think twice about grabbing it.

Hey yall. I stumbled onto your site a few weeks ago. I figured I'd give yall another update about the movie. I have two friends who are extras in the movie, so I went to watch them while they were filming today in Clinton. All of the stars were there filming a big scene with about 125 extras outside the courthouse. They also did 2 jumps with the General Lee this morning, one small one with a stunt driver, and another long jump with a dummy in the car. It was pretty exciting seeing the filming up close. On the Dukefest part of this forum it said they have just gone back to the set where they shot this film and re-shot some more stuff for this movie and on the CTM forum it said they have re-shot some more stuff for this movie but in Hollywood on the set they used for the tv show. I know that alot of films have to have bits re-shot after they have finished shooting. Can someone tell me please what is going on.?

I'm new to this so please be gentle with me!! Preview screenings of the new Dukes movie opened today in the UK, (officially opening on Friday 25 Aug). Growing up watching the original series I had mixed feelings about the film. Being a lifelong fan it is great to see the Dukes on the big screen at long last. WELL......its been a while since i wrote here, but after watching the trailer i had to comment. Im torn between love and hate... its gonna be a great movie as far as movies go, but its DUKES BLASPHEMY, its the wrong cast of dukes(minus uncle jesse of course). feels like jackass meets american pie.....that and i have a hatred for jonny knoxville...my rant is done i guess

Has there been any word out yet about who will be cast for these roles? If there shooting the movie already, shouldnt they have had the roles cast already? Or at the very least the producers should have a small list of canidates to play those roles. Have we heard any rumors of anyone for those roles?

I was thinking about how they might go about putting the trailer together and thought wouldnt it be cool if they used the theme from the show while showing clips from the movie? I'm not really interested in a new version of the song being used, I'd rather stick with Waylon's version. What do you think?

Hey, y'all. I'm new to the board but not new to the website. Does anyone have any thoughts on when we can expect to see an official movie poster for the Dukes? I keep checking the IMDB frequently, since usually that's one of the first places an official poster will pop up, but I haven't seen anything yet. -Keith
