Dukes of Hazzard Movies

Does anyone else think that they fact they are using like '80s Caprices as the Hazzard County sherriffs cars in the movie is totally gay? I mean when I was a kid growing up in the late 90s and first got into the Dukes, I'd fantasize about what the show would be like with modern cars esp like Crown Vic police cars.... Keep the General a 69 Charger, but for god's sake why they used Caprices is totally beyond me... If they wanted to be like the old show, get 76 Furys, or if they wanted to modernize the whole thing (which I think they did) why not use 99-present Crown Vics!!! Its completely insane to me... Ok so what if Jessica is blone and the Bo and Luke dont dress or acted like the original's. The tralor looks good and just maybe they wont act or look dumb when the movie comes out. But yet some people already have there minds made up that this movie is going to suck. Im not saying it going to win an ocser. Ok i have read that Scott's Bo seems stupped but there where times the John's Bo was'nt the brights lights in all of Hazzard Also in the movie they seem to be women crazy but they where like that in the show to. Luke love story he what to be with her but yet he did'nt what to stop seeing other women :x and in other show the guys ether where runing after girls or very happy about spending all night out with a girl. Last night I saw club dread , suposidly a comidy but really a horrior flick by Broken Lizzard blood drougs sex nudity and cuite chicks all walle trapped on a island I thought the most casting was pretty good MC Gainey did a good job playng hank ( a very serious charactor) The new rosco might be more like Big ed little or Sherriff Emmit Lumis Spike of hatchipiee county than ol bumbiling in cohouts James Best But then again a low budget actor that no ones ever heard of..... mabe thats why he wasn't in the traller.......or on the website

I keep reading in magazines and hearing on various entertainment shows that Jessica Simpson's "Daisy Duke" shorts are way shorter than any of the shorts that Catherine Bach originally wore on The Dukes of Hazzard. Call me crazy, but I don't think so. In all of the photos that I've seen of Simpson on the set, there is no way the shorts that she's wearing are any shorter than those that Catherine Bach used to wear. What do you think? GADuke01

weve all heard of people on the internet exchanging songs, TV shows, movies on DVD and movies in theaters through p2p programs like Kazaa or winmx. With this ive learned to buy my music or media off of Kazaa (yes, you can buy music off of Kazaa). Any of you who have AOL if you sign on tonight 4/23/05, they list 10 movies that you can't miss this summer and Dukes is one of them. They list Aug 5th as the release date.

In case any of you were curious the producer of the Dukes movie hired the stunt coordinator from the Borne Supremecy to do the car chase scenes and for any of you that have scene that movie this is good news! All the scenes in that film were exciting and hair raising. It tells me that they are taking this movie seriously even if it's gonna have a more contemporary feel, which I like. They made 23 General Lee's for the chase scenes alone and had a few others that didn't get destroyed. I was watching the tv guide channel, yesterday. They had a behind the scene look at the movie, this is the info I got. 1), willie is singing the theme, and skynyrds, call me the breeze 2), him and jessica simpson are doing a duet, for the soundtrack 3), the movie is coming out in august. Since it is on cable, this is basically confirming alot of the rumors.

I know it may be a stunter, but what's up with that wierd roundish number 0 on one of the pics? The only time I vaguely remember seeing that type of 01 was maybe on General Lee race-car for one of those electiric race tracks I had as a kid, but I can't recall for certain. Only thang I can figure is that the movie is using this type of font for long-distance shots of the General, and maybe this 01 somehow looks improved or something. Any comments?

I've got to wonder if Rosco's part in the movie is going to be as big as it was in the movie. The website doesn't have a Rosco wallpaper or buddy icon. All of the reviews posted here doesn't make mention of Rosco's role. Will there be a comedy duo with Boss and Rosco or will he be just a country sheriff under the main antagonist, Boss Hogg?
