Hello everyone! I am new to this site, but I have been watching it and reading the posts for years now. I love the dedication this group of Hazzard townies and can't tell you how much I love knowing that there are people that have such fond memories of this show as I did. I was born in Columbus, Ga, not too far form where it all started, and I remember in REAL LIFE seeing the General Lee in my town on tour while the show was still filming. I remember local companies in town that had TV ads featuring the General Lee. A bank branch from Columbus (CB&T) once had a General in front for advertising. My father bought me my first Mego General Lee toy with Bo and Luke. S…

They should make a family friendly Dukes prequel about Bo and luke getting into run shine in their teenage years. have Tom Wopat be Uncle Jesse and have a real cast unlike 2005's movie.

They should've kept it the way they were gonna go for the casting of Bo and Luke. Paul Walker and Ashton Kutcher. Maybe Gretchen Wilson for Daisy.

I just saw a commercial for a new episode of Reel Comedy on Comedy Central featuring the cast of The Dukes of Hazzard about the new movie. It will be on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm

Just found out that Willie Nelson is playing uncle Jessie and re-doing the theme tune and is the narator. I read this. is this true.

Is this movie still coming out in the Uk on th 28th August. Where can I get this DVD that has clips of the new movie on it and that will play on a UK DVD or video player . When and where get I get a copy of the soundtrack in the uk from? Any other UK new on this film would be great.

I caught most of it, and the stunt scenes look very cool. Saw another chase scene that hadn't been shown on the previews yet, and it was wild. The bar fight scene looked like good ol' mayhem too. But no matter how many times they show Jessica with her "Something bounced up into my undercarriage" line, it doesn't improve. Anybody else see it? Whad'ja think? The movie from what i saw looked good Bo blond Daisy not they showed Bo and Luke getting the general and them jumping into the car from what i saw they need to work on the jump into the window from the look of what they showed it's sad they don't put it into movie house it could work

Jay said Willie Nelson is singing the theme tune. (The one that sounds the same as the tv theme tune from the tv show, not the rock one by cage 9. ) and that he is also the narretor. I think after seeing the trailer that he is re-doing the theme tune. I still could not be true.

I think it was big of him to go to the premiere - I think it was a tough spot to be in and obviously took a lot of effort with his schedule and all.
